I'm not really into politics as you may know, but even I had heard of him. He's been a fairly high profile public figure in British politics for decades. His last gig was British Ambassador to the United States.
Agree on your last point, people rarely look like how you imagined, but still reckon the Ox is a bit of a shorty though

Back when Mandelson was forced to resign his position as our ambassador to the US over this Epstein stuff, he made a comment that 'There is more to come', or words to that effect. I thought it strange at the time that the media appeared incurious about his remark. I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I wonder if the US govt knew more, and much earlier, about Andrew and his threeway cosy back-scratching with Mandelson and Epstein, and gave the UK Govt a discreet heads up, holding back on the info release for a bit longer to give our royal family time to cut him loose before the shit really hit the fan. Â
