Massive match Sunday and we need to take something but a win will take and keep us out of the bottom three.
Hopefully Summerville is back and if he is just one decision for Nuno to make and that is which of the centre backs misses out... Really tough decision for him as Disasi has been great since arriving, Dinos and Todibo were both outstanding against City.
If Summerville isn't fit I'm guessing he'll go for another midfielder and hope he does as I'd prefer not to go three at the back again.

Cowards line up.
I'm not hiding like some.
7 defensive players and the same on the bench.
The bench is negative too.
Paco must be livid.
Ah well there is the cup.
Felt we could get a point if Nuno was brave.

Yeh, team ok, but hope we attack a lot more than we did against MCity.

As I said before the Man City game I’ll wait and see how the game is going before losing my shit over the line up. Bit of a concern that we might not have a lot going forward but then we also have some good options on the bench for later in the game as well. Maybe that’s better than going defensive later in the game.

The team they put out at ours was stronger and we should have got something from that.

They seem to have nearly all their players back, not very well timed for us but it is what it is and we have to get on with it. Still think we can get something

Decent Villa side on paper, can't call this but if we end up with the whole team sitting deep then we will struggle to get anything.

Re: A.Villa v West Ham United | PL | 22.3.26 | Predictions and Match Thread
the best thing to do against them is keep rodgers away from the ball (us higher up the pitch), we couldn't have picked a better formation for him to dictate play. even three in midfield (which I didn't want) would have been better. this cսnt is his own (and ours) worst enemy. there you go mary stubbo whitehouse, you wanted a meltdown
Re: A.Villa v West Ham United | PL | 22.3.26 | Predictions and Match Thread
Was hoping Summerville would make the bench. Don’t really know what to expect from it. A point would do me.
At least the 6 pointer in the other match stops us falling behind. And it’s an interesting relegation fight rather than a straight shit show.

I'll reserve judgement until we start, I think one problem is he doesn't fancy anyone enough to bring in i.e Magassa, Potts, Traore, Wilson.

Horrendous lineup. It didn’t work against City where we were fortunate to get a plucky draw, creating nothing all game.
Won’t get the same luck again. 2-0 defeat.

No melt down from me though I'd preferred us to not lined up that way but hopefully we're more effective attacking against a team not as good as City

Unchanged, why the meltdown? I’m happy with that.

Could be one of those games that Bowen goes in to turbo nutter mode on a mission to drag us over the line.

I'd hate five at the back again, but if the twat does go there, I'd prefer Mav RWB with Mayers LCB, alongside Todibo & Disasi. Let's hope he leaves the fucking Bus at home and let's us play

Re: A.Villa v West Ham United | PL | 22.3.26 | Predictions and Match Thread
With Summerville out and Adama not exactly forcing his way in, am expecting to see the same side, but with the wing backs aiming to spend more time in the midfield line than defensive line.
Crazy as it sounds I'd quite like to see AWB drop out, Magassa come in, and Bowen at right wing back. He grafts back all the time anyway but has an attack first mentality, and would let us play a back 3 without it feeling like a back 5.
Think we get a draw today...much as a win would change the whole complexion of the run in.

CBs it's Mavropanos before Todibo for me. Mavro has been excellent lately. Earlier in the season who'd predict a defensive problem would be we are unsure who out of 3 good CBs we should play? He's out, no late news.. Since Friday, pay attention Son.
He should stick to women's football.
