Re: Team for Fulham
We really need to win, but I don’t think we will.
maybe a draw which doesn’t make a huge difference. Expect us to concede from a corner as some point.

Re: Team for Fulham
He can't start Wilson, he offers so little and also makes us one light in the middle of the park. We need three in centre midfield or Pablo playing behind Taty. Wilson has neither the energy or stamina to be starting games. He's a last 20mins footballer now. It's got to be the same team that started against Liverpool. With Traore and Wilson coming on late.

Yes Wolves are a funny one.
Back to back wins, we don't need them up our arse as well.
We have to win.
3-2

Re: Team for Fulham
With the way the premiership now plays for corners ( Arsenal) isn’t every goalkeeper vulnerable at set pieces, remember Pep saying he wants a footballing goalie as on average during a game they only have to mane 2/3 saves, now you need a six foot six monster in goal who can stand his ground and dominate the six yard box.

Re: Team for Fulham
Being in March we are now in the final run in with 10 games to go.
If we are getting out of this then it has to start from tonight.
You would think Man C will easily turn Forest over so this really is a game we have to win for the psychology of being out of the bottom 3. At the very least we need to gain tonight so a Man C win and a draw for us v Fulham would at least be a positive in terms of reducing the deficit.
It has been a weird season, Wolves couldn't buy a win and go and beat the dippers last night so although unlikely it is feasible Forest win at City and we lose at Fulham - for me that would be it, game over. In fact rather like the above any gain for Forest over us would make our position very difficult to get out of.
I want to see a classic West Ham performance tonight with some fight, I don't care if Soucek gifts us a 1-0 away win with a goal of his arsehole but we just need to win.
If things go pear shaped tonight we'll be welcoming Lincoln, Cardiff and Wycombe to the toilet bowl next season

Re: Team for Fulham
Hermansen
Wan-Bissaka Mavropanos Todibo Diouf
Bowen Fernandes Soucek Summerville
Taty Wilson
Wilson on early 2nd half then I'd be confident of us winning with that line-up. We've only won once in our last 5 games which was against Burnley so we have to get back to winning ways. A draw simply will not do tonight.
High scoring 3-2 to us. Come on you cunting Irons!

Re: Team for Fulham
This keeper is a big worry at ser pieces and that's where we continue to be vulnerable so maybe a recall for Areola ( although he isn't flawless either) it's a tough one but I suspect Fulham will try and exploit that particular weakness.
On set pieces isn't it about time one of the centre backs got on the scoresheet ?
I can't remember the last time one did.
Do we actually practice set plays anymore ?
Soucek obviously remains our most potent aerial threat and is also highly proficient at clearing them at the other end so that alone probably makes him worth his place in the side.
Personally I would also make him captain and let Bowen concentrate on his own game.
Summerville first name on the team sheet on current form
and Fernandes not far behind
I would rather see Potts ahead of the wasteful Magassa who runs about a bit but has limited ability on the ball.
Some might say the same about Potts but he has more scope to improve and range for me.
AWB and Diouf with Mavrapanos and Diassi at the back
Bowen and Taty
Taty another who puts a shift in and occupies defenders but needs to be more clinical (hopefully Saturday will give him the confidence to kick on)
I reckon he is a one in four striker at best on current form but hope to be proved wrong.
Bowen always puts a shift in and looks like he has the full weight of a relegation battle on his shoulders as well as being knackered from almost constant football with England call ups not really helping his or our cause
Prediction
1.2
Soucek and Bowen

Re: Team for Fulham
Judgement Day. Don't fuck it up Nuno you div with any of your idiotic Substitutions or wacky tactics. Fucking go for the win and give us the best chance of achieving it. Not fanny about on the touchline as Paco bounces around the technical area losing his shit spoiling for a fight with you. Because I'm telling you, he will go off tonight and batter you with a VAR monitor if you dick about chucking away such a fantastic opportunity to claw ourselves out of this.
Also fancy knackering the first XI by choosing to go hell for leather at Anfield (of all unlikely places) only 5 days earlier..
Got to hope that most of them still have something left in the tank to play full tilt again.

Re: Team for Fulham
Wasn't their days debate on the side before the Liverpool game on here and it all counted for nothing since we couldn't defend corners?? It's not the starting eleven that counts, it's going out there and playing well. I don't give a solitary fuck (within reason) how we line up as that won't be the underlying factor if we are victorious, or not. Believe me.

Re: Team for Fulham
My mistake. I thought he was on loan but I just fact checked and saw I was mistaken.
I take back my comment and I stand corrected.

if Adama plays and doesn’t produce against his old team then he’s pretty much useless (unless midget lobbing is needed)Traore is on loan from Fulham and thus ineligible, you utter fool.
Erm, no he isn't.

Re: Team for Fulham
Fulham on their day are decent and like how they play these days. That being said, we still shouldn't fear them and give them too much respect lime we did at Home earlier in the season. We have the players to over-power them if in the right mindset to take the game to them. Spurs showed that if you fanny about and give them too much respect, they will still turn you over with relative ease. Let them worry more about us and give it everything like it is a Cup Final. This really aint the time to be gutless. And get Magassa out the side.
