I can’t see how we have the options to change much.

Fulham having a good season for them. No mugs.

we’ll need to be at our best

i think we can score but can we keep a clean sheet.

back 5 stays for me. Liverpool isn’t the result to change things in the back of

Herman

wan bissaka.  Mavro.   Disasi.    Diouf

         Soucek.  Fernandes.   Magassa

Bowen.                Taty.                  Summerville

get Bowen to cut in more

fact, they are not kids but if you view them as that then I feel that's it's you that has the problem.
They are the U21's and play better football, play for the team, win games unlike Nuno's chosen lot.

Areola
KWP Todibo Dissai Diuof

something like that

Traore ineligable as he'll get sent off anyway
Your obsession with kids is a bit suss, IMO

Hopefully he won't completely overlook a specialist Striker that was left on the Bench again for this one and not wait until the fucking 76th and 90th minute mark to make only 3 very late Subs begrudgingly - The time to make a Sub was soon after Soucek scored to make it 3-1..

I'm hoping Paco has already started kicking off in the Staff Canteen flinging his tray of eggs benedict and apple crumble at a wall towards Nuno's thick head so to make his feelings known.

Also worth noting we have only won once in the last 5 League games against Burnley and desperately need to get another win before having to play Man City afterwards. No more mistakes and capitalise on every chance we get.

Is Pablo still out? If no, in for Kante.

Areola
Bissaka Mavro Disasi Diouf
Magassa Fernandes Kante
Bowen Taty Summerville

This loss is dedicated to Brady's pay rise, and Sullivan's gonorrhea.

Liverpool just stuck Gomez on Mads for corners and that seemed enough to put him off. I would have quite liked to see the keeper put his knee in a bit more when going for the ball

Last two EPL games , Sunderland -3 and Chelsea -3.

Are you including the cup game against the mighty Burton?

We scored 3 against Sunderland not conceded 3 against them. Conceded once against Sunderland.
Oh yeah.. forgot we were capable of scoring 3 🫣

With what is being allowed at corners now, there are very few keepers in the league able to deal with it. Full on wrestling is being allowed. You only have to look at images from the Arsenal game yesterday to see how utterly ludicrous it is.

But we have kept clean sheets under Mads. Bringing in Areola didn't reverse our conceding corners last time. And Hermansen on the ball and in distribution sets us up better in possession with better distribution and the ability to draw and thus take out a presser before releasing the ball.

Until the FA clamp down on corner wrestling and actions designed explicitly to impede the keeper, we need our defenders to do a better job of 'walling off' the keeper. But Chelsea did this yesterday for Sanchez, and frankly it didn't help, because blatant and outrageous fouls are now allowed because it's a corner.

The change I'd make is to stick Bowen up top and Traore on the right, with Soucek back alongside Fernandes. Traore will have a point to prove against his old club. Bowen could do with a change (since we can't give him a rest) and has a good relationship with Taty.

The other change Id make is to drop AWB and bring in Walker Peters who is just a more intelligent and reliable player.
I'd argue that we conceded fewer goals from set pieces with a full size human in goal. Mads is dogshit. I dont think he can dive to his right either.

I wasn't impressed with Mads early spell but thought he looked good in recent games up until Saturday. Id definitely be sticking with him.

Not sure I would blame the keeper for any of the goals ...
Might be he could of come off his line for the VanDyke goal but maybe the defenders should be stronger?
4 of the five were deflections...

Wan't Nuno a GK in a previous life? He should be coaching them a bit better, otherwise it's that young fella from the U21s who looks mustard.

Yeah, hard disagree. I feel way more confident with Areola in goal. Mads is good for when don't expect the other team to get into your half, that's about it. He should be doing the oranges at half time.

Magassa has to be dropped for me (zero wins in 90 minute matches since he came in), so I would switch to a 3-4-3.

Hernansen

Todibo
Disasi
Mavrapanos

Walker-Peters
Fernandes
Soucek
Diouf

Bowen
Castellanos
Summerville

Bench: Areola, Wan-Bisaka, Scarles, Kilman, Magassa, Kante, Lamadrid, Orford, Wilson

And as stubbo pointed out there is all sorts of dark arts going on in the box during corners, so we are better off not getting into that situation in the first place.

Not sure if Flappyhandski is still injured?

Would rather have him at 41 years old in goal for us for the run-in.

When gash pablo was playing chaos ball with taty up front, the back 2 and mads were standing around half the time with nothing to do.

Whod have thunk we'd miss pablo and potts so much.
