Woke watch

Post arsene york-hunt »

"There is a very good section on GB news where the ludicrous idiocies of Wokeness are looked at I thought we would should have one for WHO. I'll start with Baptiste on BBC: In Hungary,an ambassador's family are kidnapped by Islamic terrorists and carry out atrocities. At the end of the last episode Baptiste finds out that it is a false flag operation and conveniently, the real culprits are white supremacists who want to stop all immigration. Coronation Street ITV a gay black footballer is stopped by the police, because he is driving an expensive car. He is pushed to the ground during an altercation, and damages his leg threatening his career. Could have been written by Dawn Butler or a BLM activist."

Who are the Zambian women’s and Orlando Pride’s women’s team kit manufacturers and why isn’t there an outcry against them that  Barbra Banda’s shirt isn’t flooding the likes of JD Sports?

she sounds that popular and they’d be able to make a killing over Christmas.

Hands up anyone who hasn’t got anyone on their Christmas list, who would love more than anything else a Barbra Banda Zambian or Orland Pride shirt, complete with name and number? Now she’s got that BBC award and all,,,

Its prejudice gone mad.

The petition was only set up last Friday I think someone stated and has already over 2.6M in that time. I think you have to prove you have a legitimate Email account and can only vote once. At that rate, I think it speaks volumes about the level of anger across the Country when you look at how widespread it is.
I hear you but with the majority Labour have, they'll just give this the finger and tell everybody to vote them out of office at the next GE.

Absolute contempt for the general population.

They're fucked when the economy doesn't grow fast enough to fund their pet projects and even the NHS will be cast adrift in their attempts to stay "in power".

2.5 million votes represent approximately 5% of those registered as eligible to vote. And in case some of you haven't noticed, it means that 95% of those eligible to vote haven't yet signed the petition. And this assumes that all those signing are legitimate voters. I think it has a long way to go before its supporters should get too excited. However, I suspect they will,

Does nobody ever question why you have to pay a licence fee to receive & watch television signals?

If you want to broadcast, I can understand the regulation, but it makes no difference how many people receive TV/radio transmissions - they're already out there (without you having a say in the matter).

The out of touch weirdo's now desperately banging on about how his tenure is much like tarting up his house with a lick of paint.

Totally oblivious to the strength of feeling around the rest of the country struggling to cope with his draconian policies, as he cocoons himself off with the rest of his Westminster set doing a spot of metaphorical DIY. Geezer's not all there. 🤪👈

The petition to revoke article 50 got over 6 million votes and was dismissed out of hand. Never seen the point of these petitions. At the end of the day, Labour have got a healthy majority, are under no obligation to call an election for 4 and a half years so this will be dismissed out of hand too. Not the biggest fan of Starmer, personally but he's being smart. Making all the unpopular decisions right after he's gained power and playing the long game. He knows that if he gets the economy at least moving in the right direction by the end of his 5 years, cutting fuel allowance to some pensioners and making a few whiney farmers pay inheritance tax will soon be pushed into the background and largely forgotten by most voters.

So. With this current Band Aid spat.

People in African states such as Ethiopia are claiming that they were Christian and celebrating Christmas long before countries in the west, such as the UK, started doing so.

Is this not as blatant an example of cultural appropriation (on a societal level) that you'll ever likely see?

Come on Wokerati! Step up to the line and do your job properly.

“copy nothing”

Both William Walmsley and Lyons, who came up with the original "copy nothing" quote will be turning over in their graves at the new Jaguar re-launch.

Shamelessly been turned in to a joke brand overnight.
