Currently one point off an automatic promotion spot.
It'd be good having them in the PL innit?
Provided we stay up, obvs.
Would liven the place up a bit.
MMMMMMMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL...........

What does this say about us? We hate Tottenham and want them relegated. We hate Millwall but want them promoted.
It says that we want to play our biggest rivals.

There will be six months of this is going to happen that’s going to happen loads of threats on TikTok and you tube then on the day of the home game they’ll all get on a train to Stratford followed by old bill with old bill waiting for them, loads of people “hanging around “ waiting for them few bottles thrown etc etc
followed by more videos of them telling the world West Ham are nothing these days and how they took the piss etc etc
nothing to see here move along
obviously all based on us staying up you understand

Hopefully we stay up and they come up. They’ve done very well of late and actually deserve a season in the prem. in my experience, some of our more recent encounters have been underwhelming.
I’ve been to the last three games between us, and the two in the league were drab. At The Den, boring 0-0 and kept outside the South Bermondsey until Police cleared the platform of vermin, then held at London Bridge for two hours before being sent to Canning Town. I lived in Bromley at the time, so the detour wasn’t ideal.
Upton Park, 2-1 to us, first time we’d beaten them in the league in nearly two decades (maybe it was two decades). Their lot in the Trev Upper, Nolan sent off after 16 minutes, Winston Reid becomes a cult figure, though credit to Julian Faubert and his rugby tackle on David Forde, and the ref going blind for the assists.
Never been ‘involved’, so no idea how the chaps got on.

Wonder how the PL will feel about the potential West Ham vs Millwall. Good marketing opportunity or quietly swept under the carpet as much as possible?
I reckon both games will be on the box absolutely no question. Sky/TNT will be pissing their pants with glee over it. It wouldn't be a surprise if the 'random' fixture computer happens to throw us together on the first day of the season at the
shithole den.
They would be on TV and they both would be 12.30pm kick offs for obvious reasons.

I train a couple of Millwall lads, one of them is getting married, it's his stag do in June, he bet me (before Christmas) if they get promoted I'd have to wear a Millwall top on his stag do, likewise, if they don't, he has to wear a West Ham one. Was never bothered until the past week, now he's asking me my shirt size.

Nailed on away fans bussed into either game, ie, meet at the London Stadium, produce ID, get bussed in a bussed out again after an hour stuck in the stands.
Away allocation to the Den approximately 8 people.

One of their old school managers Benny Fenton was the brother of our old manager, Ted Fenton.

You've gotta hand it to them - without having a pot to piss in they have been flirting with the play-offs more often than not in the last decade.
Yep, always seem to be up there to be fair. Their US owner was killed in a car crash about 5 years ago, was meant to be a really good bloke, I think his son took over.
Would be shocking if we go down and they come up.

Would be an absolute nightmare to go down as they go up.
Playing them is pretty much the highlight of relegation.
I think we survive, and they lose in the play-offs anyway.
Say hello to Millwall say hello to Millwall la la laa laaa

Yeah, they always seem to miss out on the play-offs.
They'll certainly be in the play-offs this time, however I'd always favour the side that sneak in with a late run of form over the side that missed out on the automatics by a couple of points.
Having said that, Big Sam took us up after finishing 3rd.

They've missed out already a couple of times I think? I reckon now is their time. Best team they've had in a long while by all accounts.
