Re: World Cup Tickets
Games involving certain player will be sold at a premium, 2 players especially will draw the rich punters and extra TV money in, Messi and Ronaldo But i read this morning that Ronaldo gets a 3-game ban for elbowing someone in the head. But because he’s Ronaldo. He misses 1 game with two games suspen...

Re: What are you drinking right now?
Water! That's it, apart from a morning coffee. Been dry for 3 weeks now, saw the GP in October and had the annual blood test, came back some level or other was a bit high, he said i may be at risk of developing a fatty liver and should moderate my drinking, so thought i would quit for a month! Re: World Cup Tickets
It's Viagogo. There's every chance those tickets aren't real yet, and even if they are there's nothing that says anyone's going to pay it. I could put a broken Sky remote on ebay for £1m - doesn't mean I'll get it. But maybe they will - the prices Yanks pay for NFL is absolutely mouth-watering. I...

Re: World Cup Tickets
What else did you expect from FIFA? I always thought they promoted football as the "peoples" game, seems it only the rich "people" they were talking about, those who can go and see this kind of tournament. Meanwhile the FIFA coffers get a huge boost, someone has to pay for delega...

Re: Could someone please explain......
The main trick in the UK is getting in the system. Once you have managed to get seen and referred for a genuine reason, the system USUALLY works quite well then at moving you through to the appropriate service/specialist. Of course, there will be many individual examples out there when this has NOT...

They have this 2 pack rule for Paracetamol (Panadol down here) in Oz as well, but the crazy thing is that they still stack them on shelves in supermarkets to help yourself 🤪 would imagine if you were going to do something dodgy with them then you would be the type to nick them anyway! All a bit too ...

Been sympathising with Arsenal fans on a PL forum, apparently, they were robbed? and Sunderland had the audacity to score from the only 2 "real" chances they had🤣 And to top it off Arteta didn't get manager of the month for October🤷♂️, it went to Amorim! As i pointed out to them, its a re...

Finished season 3 of blue lights. Loved it. Getting a bit bored with slow horses Blue Lights is maybe the best thing from the BBC right now, brilliant show, season 1 and 2 where superb and so far, season 3 (4 episodes in) is even better. Hope we get a season 4.......... Like Slow Horses as well, ...

Been a while since we have had any optimism about West Ham, but hopefully a win in this game will see the tails starting to rise and a real belief that we may have turned the corner and heading up the table! Still a big "IF" though, it is after all the West Ham way to fuck up things just w...

Re: Another Day, Another Horrific Migrant Attack (Afghan Stabs 1 to Death and Injures 2 others)
Some apologists and the woke crowd getting vocal on social media, outraged at people's response (speculating its the usual suspects/religion etc) to stabbings, rather than the stabbing attack that took place! Its as if stabbings are now just a part of normal life in the UK these days. How fucked up ...

Multiple stabbings on a train near Cambridge. No details of suspect as yet. Odds on, it will be followers of the religion of peace AGAIN! But the authorities will play it down and be giving the usual "let's not jump to conclusions" etc etc until its blatantly obvious it was or they can'...

0-2 seems to be the regular scoreline at the "fortress" these days! Was reading that Newcastle have yet to win away this season, perfect timing then for Eddie and his bunch of mercenaries at the Stratford cesspit? Won't be watching and won't be disappointed or pissed off if we lose as im f...

Re: A thread for all the positives about the Championship
Let's be honest, no club and no clubs' fans (except those in Div 1) want to be in the Championship, do they?
Yes, i quite like watching it but stop kidding ourselves its a step in the right direction or will be somehow better for West Ham, it isn't and it won't!
