@al yes. The VPN makes the service think you are in that country. It's how I get my Deezer family account for £2 a month.

I gave up with kodi a while back and found a private Plex server with IPTV to subscribe to. A lot easier navigation and the wife and kid can use it. The guy even has a request site to add stuff to his server automatically. He also has a dedicated 4k server for those with the latest TVs. Costs $70 a ...
