Re: Tim nice but dim pulls plug on Beeb career

I did laugh at the time their much heralded BBC Disinformation Correspondent Marianna Spring was found out to have lied on her CV.

My concern is, that it being film with an anti-capitalist theme to it, that they've gone balls out with the Hollywood wokeness in it.

I hope not though.

Re: Fornals earns a recall to the Spanish team- was Moyes dead wrong to bomb him out?

That's twice on this thread someone has misunderstood the 'pulling up trees' idiom. The metaphor of pulling trees out of the ground is about extreme effort, not ability or application. Therefore, Formals did in fact pull up trees for West Ham, even when he played poorly. Some people can't see the w...

Re: Tim nice but dim pulls plug on Beeb career

‘We acknowledge its flaws and are not seeking to exonerate these or excuse any of its mistakes’        Not sure that's going to cut it with the general public (which I'm guessing why you find this difficult to understand). It's hardly an admission you purposely tried to mislead the public when you ...

Today, it's Chris PACKHAM's turn to tell us that there's nothing wrong with the BBC.  It's funny their own staff can't admit they're part of the problem.

Will probably try to watch the Running Man this weekend.

Seen a mixture of reviews about it.  I'm not look for a masterpiece, but I enjoyed the original.

It's more to do with using cubicles, Mr Anon.

People go in there to shit, or to take gear, or to sit down piss.

I do none of them on a night out.

If you're private, use an online GP.

Night and day compared to the pile of shit you'll get at a doctors surgery.

Plus they work 7 days a week.  Your regular GP seems to think we're only ill Monday-Friday.

Never trust a bloke that sits down to piss for a non medial reason.

Stick with that rule, and you'll go far in life.

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread

Most importantly for me they need to be players Nuno wants and can work with, he has to be backed to get us out of the shit. And what if he can't get us out of the shit?  We're then stuck with his players. If we've learnt any lessons over the past few decades of multiple failed transfers, then I ho...

All exactly what we don't need.

Why not go out and buy another keeper while we're at it?

The response is now fully orchestrated. Davie, the bird, Simpson, Shah, Ed Davey (who?), the SNP all queuing up to say the exact same, weasel words; 'political opponents', 'mistakes', 'weaponised'. So fucking obvious Not sure the majority of public will buy that.  I hope they continue to try and pu...
