Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

Fullkrug to Real Madrid.!!!!!! www.,fichajes.net Read that this morning too but can't seriously believe they would be after him. I don't actually think it would make a big difference if he stays or goes - we must hold the record for the amount of money spent on strikers who just sit on the bench be...

Re: Antonio

I don't want to see him play in a West Ham shirt again personally. Grateful for what he has done for the club to date, but if he is in our squad next season it can only mean that, once again, the recruitment team have failed to find a striker. I wish him well, but having to rely on a 35 year striker...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

Reading the Guardian about Kudus to Spurs rumours. I wasn't aware of this situation. Is this widely known and I am just slow to it? "Despite not having done business with West Ham since 2011 because he does not get on with the club’s owners, the Tottenham Hotspur chair Daniel Levy is prepared ...

We'll have some 30+ year old freebie lined up, I'd imagine.
Exactly the kind of signing that has killed our academy over the last 10-15 years in my opinion.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

Great opportunity to see how the team is shaping up in a pre-season against Lille at the LS on 9th August.

Basically to see how many players are left and how many youngsters might get a chance to impress.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

I honestly don't believe Antonio is after more money - expect he is just after more money than he is being offered. I don't think there is an awful lot of drama here or anyone is doing anything especially questionable. It would be mad to offer him anything substantial as a 35 y/o coming back from a ...

A bit like our situation, the biggest decision is not to get rid, it's who they bring in.

Unlike our situation though, Spurs aren't just shopping in the free-transfer market and are more likely to make a better decision... sadly.

Re: WHU sanctioned by The FA

I sit near the away fans and I find it all a bit puzzling (and amusing) really. There are fans, both in the home and away end, that are practically foaming at the mouth with anger at some of the standard PC chants "you sold your sole, for this sh*thole" etc and they're the same ones who ca...

If he is guilty and banned, then it's such a West Ham thing to happen, even through no fault of West Ham.

A sign of how far we've come since the Tevez saga - ie not that far at all.

The club are all over this on the socials as if it's some kind of massive prestigious competition.

The only few players in the squad that anyone has ever heard of have sat on the bench for both games (Anton, Vaz Te, Zarate).

Biggest pint of bothered I've ever ordered.

Never really been a big fan of Jack.  I think he plays for himself a bit too much and on a counter attack he'll stop and walk with the ball so he can do some fancy footwork.

Obviously a good player but not someone I'd be keen on.

Some people seem to think that Football Manager is real life.

For starters, in FM you can sign players outside of Will Salthouses stable.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

McAtee looks a good player, but from what I've seen, doesn't look to have much pace. We are badly short of quick players, and a bit of muscle. Also, doesn't he play wide right? Probably the last signing we need to make at the moment, a slow left footed right winger. But if we're selling Kudus who w...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

Areola played 25 games this season and he does not fill you with confidence. Kellher played 18 games for Liverpool this season and they've been very happy with him as back-up. I personally think he would be an ideal GK for 12.5m and we've missed a trick here. We aren't going to find much better for ...

Rumours we are interested in Kelleher of Liverpool and I think we've been linked with him before.

That would be a great signing if we can get it done.  But there'll be others interested.

Branded can't make much sense of what you said. However if you look at the footage,it's clear this wasn't his intention as he would have just ploughed through straight away. The video of him reversing and that guy flipping backwards was really him brushing  someone off. Then when the others be came...

I feel like Kudus for anything over £50m is a deal worth doing - as long as it's not to Spurs.

Summervilla back from injury and Guillerme waiting in the wings means we don't really need to buy a replacement and the money can be spent elsewhere.

Considering how shit we've been this season, how anyone can say that the youth players aren't ready is beyond me. I'd get it if we had a solid season, with decent performances and players acquitting themselves admirably, giving us some hope for next season.  Maybe that's not the time to put them in....
