Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
Used to be if contact started outside the box it was always a free kick regardless of where the player eventually fell. That's the better way to judge it as it takes subjectivity out of the decision.

Honestly thought any moment that var was going to intervene. Stevie Wonder would've overturned that one.

Blatantly outside the box. I guess it's Arsenal's turn to win the league this season.

Second to the ball too often and wasteful in the final third.
Hopefully we can hold it till half time and improve second half.

Mav had a slight momentary wobble but did well overall. We've just improved all over the pitch. Think we'll be OK .

Should be ahead of guido and at least on equal terms with jwp. Can't think of any fans who would disagree with that.
On that note I can't believe Guido is still here, I suppose he's been told by the interested club to stick it out here until at least January.

Just had a look at a few post match reactions on forest youtube channels.
The barely disguised sense of entitlement from forest fans after one good season was hilarious to see. Doubt we'll play a bigger bunch of nigels this season (barring palace of course).

Re: Niclas Füllkrug Subbed
I always thought Fulkrug likes to go deep (ooh matron) and have runners go beyond him. Despite his height he's not a target man. More a Sheringham type?
Wilson had the luxury of Summerville also coming on and being on fire so the Forest defence were all over the place by that point.

Not sure why Freddie can't start this one, probably knows more about Sunderland than anyone else at West Ham.

Yay
Or very own rodri in midfield , if he starts making his way out to the pitch now he might just make it there for kick off.

Not saying much but the England keeper's kicking is much better than Areola's to be fair.

Re: Potter Out
Ok, I think we are mixing what we want to happen with the actual reality of the situation. If it was up to me I'd want us to sack Potter and get in one of the best up and coming coaches in Europe and pay almost whatever it takes to prise them out of their current club in the summer. Not going to hap...

Re: Potter Out
Absolutely pointless binning Potter. We'd only get Cooper or Gary O'Reilly in to replace them. The problem is the people picking the managers and running the club (into the ground). So you are happy to entrust our transfer chest with Potter? Not particularly, you're asking as if I have a choice....

It's difficult to comprehend the changes made today, that completely turned the match out of our favour, at home, against one of the worst Premier league sides in history, the manager didn't have the balls or the faith in his players needed to kill the game. Utterly fucking deflating.

Can't understand why no free kick for the blatant push on Fulkrug. Whilst challenging for the ball fair enough but the ball had barely left Macallister's boot.
Home game for Liverpool = different rules.

Re: James Tomkins retires
When he was a first team regular at Palace my old boss, a Palace fan,at the time said he was decent. Had a lot of injury problems later on and never really recovered. Still played nigh on 400 senior games so not a bad career at all.
