you can't compare luther and the wire. luther is entertaining but not too serious. Wire is like a masterpiece.

I have just ordered Hannibal season 2 and 24. My favorite of all time is the wire and then lost. But of the more recent ones if you like dark and great acting then Hannibal season 1 is a must.
