The U21s lost 3-1 after leading 1-0 at the break. Two penalties (one saved), and a red card at the beginning of the second half. The website said both decisions were harsh.

Soucek played 90 minutes.

He has great ears, but even better balls. He loves whipping his balls in the box, which is enough to get anyone excited.

Great stamina too. I reckon he could go all night.

We showed some fight, and also didn’t shit ourselves in the last five minutes. So that’s an improvement. We’re no worse than Everton, which isn’t saying a lot, but at least I’m more hopeful about the season.
