Nailed on to either get a top 6 club or a promoted team away while they are still on their honeymoon period.

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
I noticed that Felipe Anderson was playing for Palmeiras. He got booked and hauled off in the second half. It would be useful if a Brazilian team went far in this - it would give them money to offer a decent wedge for Paqueta instead of pleading poverty and trying to get him on loan on the cheap

We seem to have been linked with KWP forever. On a freebie, he would be a good signing. Like AWB, he can play on either side.

Re: FIFA Club World Cup
Shit, meaningless tournament for fanboys held in a despotic country with very poor human rights.
The only remotely interesting bit is that Manny Lanzini is in the River Plate squad. Apart from that, I couldn’t give a shit.

I thought he started off as a decent ref, but then it seemed to go to his head.
Shocked about him passing away. 65 is no age.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
Brighton do recruit older players too. Wellbeck, Lallana and Milner weren’t exactly spring chickens. I think it depends on who else we bring in. We have one of the oldest and slowest squads in the Premier League, which is why other teams keep cutting through our midfield like a hot knife through but...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
The only thing that puts me off Brownhill is his age. He will be 30 this year and we already have an old squad. But 18 goals from midfield is nothing to be sniffed at. And if he has some leadership qualities that would also help. I certainly wouldn’t be upset with this signing

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
I think Kelleher is a good keeper and Brentford have done a decent bit of business.
But I’m sure we will pick up someone better for a good price. Maybe Brighton’s reserve goalie.

Re: National League Playoff final : Oldham Athletic v Southend Utd
I hate Oldham. We lost out on a League Cup final and the Championship because of them. I was hoping they would never come back to the League.
At least we’ve got a bit of history with Southend with Bobby Moore and Frank Lampard Senior.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
Chelsea are just stockpiling all the young talent so that no one else can have them.
They continue to break financial fair play rules and get away with it every year.
Other clubs should refuse to loan their players. Let the greedy bastards rot.

Unpopular opinion, but I like BrewDog. Is James Watt a dick? Probably.
I hardly ever drink at the stadium anyway, but if I did they do some decent beers.

I just looked it up. It’s because of the FIFA World Club Cup, a tournament that no proper football fan gives a toss about.
