Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
To be fair, I was listening to Arry talking to Geo about the match and he said that from his experience as a manager, it didn't really matter what Nuno did or didn't do and it was Chelsea putting the pressure on us and driving us back regardless. Geo definitely tried to lead him into saying bringin...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
We have failed every “biggest game of the season” so far and the run of them around xmas. On what planet does anyone think we will be mentally or physically strong enough to overcome Burnley with their crowd feeling its genuinely a chance for a rare win. If its purely a law if probability thing fi...

Not just the men's team they are stripping for cash West Ham have sold defender Anouk Denton for a club record fee of £200,000 to American side Bay FC. The 22-year-old has been a key player for the Hammers since signing permanently from Arsenal in 2023, making 67 appearances.Denton became the first...

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
Disasi isn't bad if he is 100%. The fact he has hardly kicked a ball and then made last minute demands despite him not kicking a ball for months means he is off to a bad start with me. He also seems to favour the right side......where really we needed more of a left sided CB Don't think he starts ...

Re: Rate the transfer window...
Shit. Nuno kept crying out for balance in the squad. It isn't balanced. We don't have any depth out wide or up front. We haven't improved the main area which was CB and in Traore Disasi and La Madrid we've signed 3 blokes who probably wont play much if at all between now and end of season. 0 inten...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
Got a load of grief a month ago for calling it an asset strip and Sullivan happy to go down whilst pocketing cash.
After that window leaving our squad thinner and a negative net spend.....
Where is the intent to stay up and where is the money? Anyone care to explain.....

Not one mention of the Caicedo save either which was world class It was a very good save, no doubt, but world class? I'd wager there was a save of that quality in most premier league games this weekend. It's the keeper's job It was world class, that was a terrific save no two ways about it. He wa...

Then they ran up the other end and made it 2-0
least that back injury of his has cleared up though.

Re: Chelsea vs West Ham | PL | 31.1.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
The upturn in form for me is largely due to the new lads up top. Their energy up there and pressing from the front means we are winning the ball much higher up the pitch allowing us to get our dangerous players in dangerous areas more often and also allowing us to create more up the right end of th...

Re: Chelsea vs West Ham | PL | 31.1.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
Hanging on doesn’t work and is so often the reason we end up losing games. There is no reason that the player coming on for Pablo can't do the same role (even if it's not the natural position for the player coming on) Closing down and making a general nuisance in the final third. Bringing a cen...

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
What time will that arselicker Whetstone do a tweet along the lines of 'West Ham have been offered a few players today but the manager doesn't feel like they are better than what we have or the price demands are deemed unreasonable. We can still sign free agents after the deadline which is what w...

We won't get enough quality in today. Need a good CB and a good winger and a good number 10 Net spend of -£15m is it? Squad reduced by 7 members Nice one Sullivan Whetstone did a piece on Iain Dale's blog about our spending....don't think it's as much as 15m....but there is a small profit curr...

Re: Chelsea vs West Ham | PL | 31.1.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
Watching the game we should have been 3 or 4 up on 60 mins. Soon as they scored the team just stopped doing what was so good for the first 60 mins. Sitting deeper, no press from the front. Not getting into them in the midfield. We shat ourselves, theres no leadership on the pitch to sort things out....

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
Have to beat Burnley saturday and then a huge game v Bournemouth when teams around us have harder fixtures. Sadly though, if we can't keep a clean sheet we have no chance of staying up. I also suspect the Todibo red will be something we look back on. We simply can not afford at this point to lose ...

Don't mind Disasi, not sure he is better than Igor......but he is definitely better than Kilman
Doesn't exactly feel like we've added much depth or quality this window. I don't know why it's a surprise anymore

Fans banned for banner against Sunderland
3 fans have been given a 3 match ban for the banner against Sunderland. Done for bringing in a banner/flag over a certain size and for no fire cert. Would be no retribution if it was pro board or pro a player. We need to get hundreds of flags in there all displaying anti board messages. Absolut...

Paqueta is a cսnt end of. We stood by him for years over the betting shit. Betting shit which seems to much of a massive coincidence not to have any truth of it. Years of underperforming, tantrums and suspensions whilst paying him a fortune and he can't even see the season out to try and get us ou...

Sullivan latest to the gimp Whetstone. A top transfer source speaking exclusively speaking to Claret and Hugh tonight told us, “No top player is going into a club who have every chance of being relegated. It just doesn’t happen. Plus, the club cannot go and spend £40 million on a player that mi...
