Re: Fixtures out next Wednesday (18th)
looking on twitter yesterday and a West Ham account probably run by a 16 year old bin lid said 'looking at the fixtures we're likely to go down next season, I can't see where back to back wins is coming from' Thought it must just be usual knicker wetting nonsense till you peak the fixtures and he ...

Re: Fixtures out next Wednesday (18th)
I always think December is the most crucial month of the season. 6 games, lots of momentum can be gained or lost and our december is dog! tough start also but after the Mackems the next 4 are all in europe so hopefully some sunday hangovers Apart from Burnley and maybe Sunderland for the return le...

Suspect you are right, or will be Chillwell on loan
Long grim summer ahead as per. Have we ever dreaded a season at the OS as much as this upcoming one?

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
Truffert would have been good business I would take Elliot over McAtee if both are available. We should be raiding Chelsea for the likes of Petrovic, Dewsbury-Hall and Chuwumeka if they are up for grabs. Then turn to the Championship and the lesser european leagues. The St Etienne CAM/ST looks li...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
Have i missed something? If we ship out JWP for £15m and get Brownhill in on a free how is that not good business? JWP is bang average, good stats, mainly from set pieces at Southampton which he has dried up at. Its a like for like with £15m in the bank to buy someone else. I'd take that. Bu...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
Yeah the bookies i guess are thinking those teams will lose players and need rebuilds, in Palace's case they have Europe also..... But they seem to forget we also need a rebuild, will probably lose more players and are starting from a far weaker value. I thought we would be 4/1 at best could not b...

We're 7/1 at the moment. Seems amazing value.

Re: Antonio
they've had to list him as a free agent due to his contract expiring and he hasn't agreed a new one yet Given Michail Antonio ’s unique situation, following his serious road traffic accident in December 2024, there will be no formal decision and announcement on his future until such time that it i...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
Rated Grealish a few years ago but after the last season anyone at a club like ours wanting to spend 200k a week on him must be mad. Hasn't got much goal threat anymore and no pace. I'd rather Sancho for a similar looking deal. Without paying him up or a large part of his wages don't see where Ja...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
with Bowen and Ghillurme. I think i would like the Kudus money spent on a number 10 and a top CB. Spend the Paqueta money on another attacking midfielder and a CM. We would need a left sided winger for Summerville competition more than we would need another right winger wouldnt we? Anyhow agree w...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
Chelsea after Kudus
Dewsbury Hall
Chuwumeka
Tosin
Chalobah
Sanchez
those 5 offered up as part of any deal.
I'd take Dewsbury Hall, Chuwumeka and Chalobah for Mo
I reckon Potters new keeping coaches might want Sanchez to join them, hopefully not he is up with Ramsdale as a calamity.

Re: Paqueta - Latest news
I don’t understand how our relationship with Betway continued after it was them that reported him Especially after I imagine the squad were encouraged to use them Youd hope if there was suspicion of these very minor inappropriate bets the company would have contacted the club & had him told to ...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
The Saints fans all seem to speak well of Walker Peters. Harwood Bellis however:- "Harwood Bellis will be hoping for a move to a Prem club. Imo he's been our worst CB which is saying something, and has looked out of his depth in the Premier League. At best we may get 15m or likely less for him...

Also if we sign Ramsdale for more money and wages than Kelleher i fucking give up.
He is bang average, only because he is english he gets spoken about.

If i am Amorim looking a the state of them i am doing all i can to keep Rashford and Sancho. Both shown they can operate in the prem and what's point of paying 300/400k a week to watch them play for someone else. £25m for Sancho a few years after laying out £70m sums up their policy the last 10 ye...

Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
Thought the Mobland finale was pretty weak. But agree the cast baring maybe Helen Mirren are superb. Especially Hardy. I actually thougt for once Hardy wasn't OTT and Mirren and Brosnan were.and I thought Paddy Considine was the best of all of them. Agree though a weak ending, Still prefer GoL ....

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
He has always looked decent for Liverpool. £12.5m intial fee is absolute peanuts in this day and age and great business for Brentford. Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
I think £30m is good signing for Chelsea and in Nicolas Jackson he hasn't got much competition to oust to be starting in the champions league.
If he can bag at Ipswich he should get 10-15 comfortably at Chelsea

Sullivan pooh poohs it because he doesn't have the vision to understand it, and then gets Callum Wilson, Jonjo Shelvey, and a stack of old razzle magazines for his collection from one of his mates and flushes another tonne of money down the toilet in big wages and transfer money we'll never ever re...

Re: Ipswich Vs West Ham | PL | 25.5.25 | End of Season Predictions and Match Thread
If there is a half decent player up for grabs with us and a few other clubs in the running (say Delap as a rough example). What makes us more attractive then the likes of Forest, Everton, Brighton, Spurs etc The uncertainty around our big names like Kudus Paqueta Alvarez etc is enough alone to mak...
