Re: Grimsby fined for fielding an ineligible player in win over Man Utd
To be honest I think the said player was a Manure spy, although he was registered 2 minutes late, when it came to the penalty shootout he was the only Grimsby player to actually miss, in mitigation Grimsby did flag this error up to the league themselves.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
I’m not 100% on this but I think if English clubs transfer between themselves then a bigger amount of the fee has to be paid upfront, whereas if it’s from a foreign league then the fee can be spread over more years, maybe this is why clubs seem to want to bring in from abroad rather then the champio...

It looks like they are playing inside an old stadium that’s had the grass area turned into a training facility.

Re: Pre-Season Tactics Breakdown
Same in the way Pep ruined Grealish, the thing is he went to City due to his Villa performances, then Pep completely changed him, slow, always passing back, not taking on his defender, now he’s not good enough for City and looks like he’s moving. Granted his trophy cabinet must look quite good.

Even if it were true, the big boys have stopped any new super rich person from just splashing his cash to achieve success, just look at Newcastle, they have one of the richest people on the planet but he’s not allowed to spend.

First time I seen any women’s football, don’t really think I’ve missed owt. It’s a very basic game with a lot of long balls and getting the ball into the penalty area at every opportunity, the lasses have to be fit though play this way, reminds me of division 4 football from 30 years ago, can quite ...

Re: Can clubs legally prevent their players from being called up for international duty?
Sir Alex basically controlled when and where his international players played, they developed serious injuries on a Monday, hence unavailable for the international, that miraculously healed itself by Saturday, unless 5hey were Scottish, they never seemed to be injured. I believe that after this happe...

Just watched about 15 minutes of the current game, Poland v Sweden, and I can quite see they do not have the physicality of men but I’m afraid I would not even rate the skilful side of the game as county level of the men’s game.

Maybe the South Americans take it more seriously due to the money on offer, also they probably want to prove they are as good if not better then the Europeans as they must get fed up off hearing about how great the premiership and champions league are.

Re: International matches
Personally I think the premiership is ranked as the best league because it’s made up of a majority of foreign players and British players are there just to make up the quotas for home players. Then once these English players are put together into a team they show how good they really, which is quite...

People state that he has done a lot for various charities etc, well he’s amassed that much money that he could ponce around pretending he’s some kind of saint, the ordinary person is too busy working to pay their mortgage etc. Personally I worked for 40 years on a steelworks, and I’m sure many on he...

Re: WHU sanctioned by The FA
In this sanction does it state how they expect the club to stop this style of chanting, as obviously they blame the club for this behaviour, as if the club ran chanting classes on a Thursday night so that it was nicely coordinated.
