Re: Crapaqueta
Did he dive and hold his head as it went over?
Re: Nuno Out
I wonder if he’s trying to be too clever and making substitutions hoping that someone will say he’s the next Pep because his changes were the mark of a tactical genius, instead of doing the boring obvious ones that he should be making, and on Traore his position is wide right but our best player is ...

Re: Chelsea vs West Ham | PL | 31.1.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
Just shows what playing with 2 up top provides, heir defenders not allowed to pass it about at ease, just keep the work rate effort up.
Re: VAR
It’s shit refs on the field having their shit ref mate in VAR making shit decisions, the VAR ref doesn’t want to upset his mate on the field because next week it will be the other way round. Get independent people in the VAR who aren’t afraid of upsetting their mate on the field.
Re: VAR
Don’t see the difference between last night’s disallowed goal and Arsenal’s tonight. Love the consistency of VAR.
Re: VAR
The games all about scoring more goals than the opposition, but if you look at the whole season for every game I wouldn’t like to guess how many goals it’s chalked off, that 10 years ago would have stood. Be interesting to see how many goals were scored in a season 10 years ago as what was counted l...
Re: VAR
I think the refs are now waiting for VAR to highlight fouls, handballs etc, they’ve either been told to or are just shit scared of make decision.

Re: West Ham vs QPR | FA Cup | 11.1.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
Will he “rest” the so-called first 11, as it’s the cup and league survival is the priority, but saying that I don’t actually think our so called first 11 could win anyway. Can you play in Europe (if we won the cup) if your in the championship?

Re: Is Max Kilman the worst centre back in your memory - name worse?
It’s not that he’s just shit but the transfer value was diabolical, £40 million, even Man City don’t pay that much for their players, and most of them are already internationals.

Be able to see how good Strand Larsen is today, if he can’t score against our defence then he is crap.

Can he defend at corners?
Re: Nuno Out
You sometimes wonder if these managers are all that bothered about getting the sack, Nuno will have had a payoff at the spuds, then Forest, I would assume he’s on £100k a week so gets paid up in January that’s basically £5 million, he can probably go back to Portugal and live very comfortably for th...

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Genuine question, once players finish college/ university and are not drafted do they basically get a job and then play “amateur” football, like we have a pyramid of football (our football) where a person can play all the way down to Saturday/ Sunday pub football. I ask because I once heard that onc...
Re: Nuno Out
With this squad even Pep couldn’t keep us up, by end of January it will be obvious even to a blind man we’re going down, so then start preparing who to keep, who to get rid of and who’s going because we’re in the championship.

Re: The Official Politics Thread (enter at your own risk)
I actually wonder where the BBC Verify was when this was happening, there very quick to tell everyone that one of Putin’s rockets has hit a building in the Ukraine, but have kept very quite over one of their own programs splicing up speeches to make people look bad.

Re: West Ham vs Aston Villa | PL | 14.12.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
To me AWB is a bit like Trent (once of Liverpool) although not as good in his distribution, quite decent going forward but absolutely useless as a defender, just watch how many times he’s out of position, and to my eyes not busting a gut to get back.

Probably if we didn’t spend most of every game with less possession then our opponents and not defending on our 18 yard line then he would have a lot better stats.

Re: FA Cup Draw - 3rd Round (Monday 8 December)
Seriously though do we need the extra games in the cup where there’s a possibility of injuries/ suspensions with our squad, apart from some wins giving us some confidence I think this season is all about staying up.

Exactly Atwood, unless it’s purely for the money then what decent player is coming in January when it’s almost certain they’ll be in the championship next season that I would assume a pay cut.
