Re: Disasi Signs | First Interview and Player Analysis

You are trying hard with these new threads, Stubbo :-) Nobody gives a hoot what this fella has to say. He’s putting in effort to try and drive traffic to the website to stop it dying.  Fair play to him for taking the time to do so.  Yes I get that, but in that case start a crisp thread instead.

Can't really blame Nuno. He set us up brilliantly in that first half, and even at the start of the 2nd, we were going for a 3rd.

And should've gone 3-2 up at the end before they went and won it.
How come you never get bored? Weird.

Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls

Hey Manuel, im glad you stuck with Industry as I'd recommended it highly. I personally really enjoyed seasons 1 & 2 but then I work in the industry so I liked how accurate they got some of the finer points of trading floor life albeit most of the trades were completely impossible but you have t...

Nah, you're alright. If it pisses you off so much I won't change. You sound like one of Kier Stasi's lot who wants to control what others say. Christ, bore off fella. I agreed with your analysis on Leeds earlier, did I not? You can be a good contributor on here, but let yourself down with your cons...

Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls

I've started on Industry Se01 and its OK. Thing is I know it gets a lot better so I'm persevering with some fast forward. I'm on season 2 and still not convinced but it's 'good enough' to stick with and will likely get up to date as not to much to catch up on. You fast forward and miss some things?

MASSIVE disappointment, imho.
It was a bit 'silly' but I still enjoyed it. Third and final series next year apparently.

I slate them because they are fucking pony. It only took Traore 15 minutes for instance to show his worth as a failed WWF wrestler and for all hell to break loose leading to our best Centre Half getting suspended for 3 games. But by all means keep an open mind about how well Sullivan and Nuno hav...

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread

The 'problem' with slating a player before he has even stepped foot on the pitch is that you then want them to fail, period, so that you can then shout even louder and be proved right to a bunch of strangers on an internet forum. Now Paqueta has gone, I see ''look at me everyone'' Massive has now s...

Re: Rate the transfer window...

We now have a stronger first eleven and apart from Paqueta (who many wanted out anyway) have only cleared out dross that never or rarely played, including the wide Brazilian who wasn't played by 4 different managers. So overall not great but not a disaster. Sorry if that view upsets anyone.

"In West Ham's case, despite a gut-wrenching 3-2 defeat by Chelsea on Saturday night, the numbers make for slightly better reading, with the Hammers' chance of safety rated at 17.06%. With a game against strugglers Burnley to come next week, West Ham - who looked dead and buried a month ago - ...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread

I've long thought Leeds would be the one's to catch realistically. They are the newly promoted Club with a manager who will feel the pressure and someone who has struggled in the past to keep them in the division (Leeds and Norwich) so he doesn't have the know-how, Dyche does who also has a better ...

An awful start but I still say he will prove useful, defenders hate coming up against forwards with pace and strength. We all shit ourselves when he use to come on against us.

Re: Chelsea vs West Ham | PL | 31.1.26 | Predictions & Match Thread

A third goal would have killed it and we got in some good positions, usually wide right, but Fernandes had a good opportunity where he cut in from the left inside the box and had pretty much the whole back stick to aim at but went more central and it was blocked. How come you never saw Paqueta in th...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread

Have to beat Burnley saturday and then a huge game v Bournemouth when teams around us have harder fixtures.  Sadly though, if we can't keep a clean sheet we have no chance of staying up.  I also suspect the Todibo red will be something we look back on. We simply can not afford at this point to lose...

Was shocked at how bad Palace were, and Brennan Johnson is a shocking footballer. A small lifeline here maybe, IF we beat Burnley we are likely to be 3 or 4 points behind the 17th placed team, or teams. We have to go to palace  and beat them to stay up  I believe they have two upcoming home games a...

Re: Chelsea vs West Ham | PL | 31.1.26 | Predictions & Match Thread

The first goal could've been avoided with a pro active keeper. Once that went in, we definitely needed to change it up, but the change should've been to flood the midfield with legs, Soucek and Pablo off, Magassa & Potts on. They had no pressure whatsoever on their midfielders, who were dictati...

A decent manager doesn't lose from the winning positions we have been in  games over the past three months.

Absolutely spot on, in a nutshell. And what happened to his counter attacking football when sitting back?? We haven't seen it.
