Re: Why have so many posters left this site?
The main layout of the site isn't that bad, the thing that annoys me is within the thread itself, much preferred the old layout. Less is more and all that. Edit: Maybe because we're all older we've become boring cunts? Not me, i'm fucking brilliant. Which bits of the layout, and do you access on mo...

Re: For WHO's birders
Magpies are lovely birds Stubbo, much rarther have them than wood pigeons who just scoff away every bit of food you leave out. Give em some grapes, they love them. Can't agree...wood pigeons can be handled...feeder choice etc, and then use them as a service to avoid flightless vermin by cleaning ...

Re: Why have so many posters left this site?
Any thoughts? You won't listen, but.... A thread has a title, if its political or has political content or music or 18th century theatre, posters can choose to post or not on that topic. The temptation is to listen to people who complain that content is there, instead of letting them post where t...

Re: Why have so many posters left this site?
Interesting idea earlier...the idea of more split by topic type. We grouped all the Politics under one thread to make it easier to avoid...but tis probably reduced the number of posts and debates about different current affairs subjects...all be it they tend to navigate towards a single relentless ...
Re: Nuno In
Absolutely stinks of Sullivan. “Penny wise, pounds foolish” is Sullivan in a nutshell. Yet more reasons to get this incompetent megalomaniac as far wway as possible from the day to day running of the club. imo its a team thing. The coaches matter absolutely. Just look at an old example which wa...

Re: Why have so many posters left this site?
I highly doubt this site averages 65 posters a day. Less than half of that would be my educated guess. Wils setup a stats page to track these things. The numbers are legit There's ~20+ on this small thread alone. I'm sorry but I just don't buy it. The place is moribund. I try my best with activity...

Re: Why have so many posters left this site?
Out of interest, what was the number on each of those days? 115 posters, 650 posts on the day of the Chelsea game. 102 posters, 547 posts on the day of the Wolves game. The "average" day there are about 65 posters, and around 230 posts to the site per day, typically spread over about 20 t...

Re: Why have so many posters left this site?
For context on this. I have been tracking the amount of posters on the site since its relaunch. Although we without doubt lost regulars and old timers over that period, the top day for the number of different posters posting content on this site was as recent as 22nd August this year (Chelsea game)...

Re: Why have so many posters left this site?
All this place needs it for it to be sectioned by topic, meaning to the core of the conversations remains the topic of conversation. Re: West Ham Youtube channels
Just unsubscribed from Hammers Chat and West Ham Way....I like the guys but the content is just feeding on news scraps without any value add. Claret and Booze I watch (although am a bit selective, but Nick is a genuine fan and doesn't really monetise much) and his brother Gary on Bobby Moore Stand I...

It's almost like all the briefing horseshit that was going on over the last week about how Hahn was the talent spotter, and Macauley was only responsible for Mads...was all part of an orchestration leading up to this moment. Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
I counted Marshall, a half a dozen times harassing the Arsenal defenders. On one occasion he nicked the ball off Gabriel by simply being quick enough to challenge before Gabriel could release it. At another point, he caused one of the Arsenal defenders to pass it off the pitch again simply by being...

Re: Hammers United Protests | Who's Going?
There is an 11pm curfew to exit the London Stadium. Event organisers need special dispensation to extend the curfew for late-finishing concerts and the like. I won't be there but a sit in after the match is a good idea for those who want to show their feelings. It doesn't effect the team for this i...

Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
We were clearly looking for someone who could harrass them when they had the ball, and run the channels for our out ball...both things Wilson can't do. I think bringing Marshall on for his pace, movement and relentless sprinting was purely tactical, and you either agree with those tactics or not......

Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
This is an interesting perspective on the Arsenal game individual performances (and season performances as a whole) and is based on the average ratings across sites that rate players based on the match data/statistics (Opta stylee). As it shows, Paqueta was our highest rated player in the match and ...

International Break Yawn Fest
So here we are with another International Football yawn-fest.
What will you do for the next 14 days while meaningful football shuts down? In some ways two weeks downtime will be a nice break from the current West Ham circus.
When we get back...the next 5 games will likely define the whole season.

Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
The only good thing about that white flag waving tosh was our shape before they scored. Nuno has a lot to do to stop us looking like guaranteed relegation fodder. And I don't why we have to endure the painfully overrated Paqueta week in week out. When he's not embarrassing this club with his pathet...

Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
Diouf is obviously not great defensively, but he was up against arguably the best right sided duo in the league, away from home, with Summerville as defensive help. He'll have easier games. At 20 years old, it's no surprise he struggled. Much better to judge him in the next one now we're defending ...

I'd settle for attempting to press north of the halfway line before we're 2 down. GUTLESS FUCKING SURRENDER. Completely agree with this, that was Gutless fucking surrender! It used to be you'd only see a team resort to that type of tactic was when there'd been an early red and they had no cho...

Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
I am just wondering if some posters expected a master class in the West Ham way when we are second from bottom of the table? 2-0 better than expected We made 263 passes. That’s less than Leeds Utd made there when they lost 5-0. There won’t be a PL side that go there and pass less. We are utterl...

Feels like Clint and Nutsin would prefer Nuno had stood on the sidelines and shouted, "CHAAAARRGGGE" and watched us get cut to ribbons over and over until we conceded 8.
Were just not in their class...athletically and skill.

Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
We have to be realistic. Not one of our players would get in their squadet alone team. Bowen looks like he's lost half a yard of sharpness.
They're just dramatically better than we are and it shows. Difference between a club run properly, and a club run like a hobby.

Re: Arsenal vs West Ham | PL | 4.10.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
The reaction from some in response to us struggling away against one of the best teams in the world is pretty laughable. They have multiple players that are worth 100m plus. We dont have any. Yes, we're in the same league as them....but not really. Hold the line everyone. This game doesn't define N...
