Yes our defence is woeful
But we are currently operating with only Summerville & Bowen as wingers in the entire squad, so we need rotation / sub options for them
Traore will be an exciting option off the bench of us in reality, and provides some cover
more players needed still though

Re: Pablo- is he absolute gash?
regardless of his goalscoring instincts, he physical presence does create a lot more space and opportunities for us
Can fault his work rate, and lets hope things only get better as he finds his feet in the team / league

Re: Nuno Out
The Forrest game was one of the very few games were he was actually looking to shoot, and was unfortunate with the disallowed goal
hopefully can kick on from there. Lord knows we need someone to start putting in a shift to try and save something from this season

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
you have to imagine that anyone we sign this window will have a decent relegation release clause added in to their contracts (maybe not Pablo as he is quiet young still) When we go down, there will be a mass exodus as well - some of which for the better But what will we actually be left with as a s...
Re: Nuno Out
Another set piece and another penalty, we are absolutely killing ourselves for periods of the game we looked better, although still fairly shaky at the back We need a solid CDM more than any other position, to organise and hold the shape together. the only problem is, which decent play in their rig...

Re: West Ham vs Brighton | PL | 30.12.25 | Prediction and Match Thread
Our defensive resiliance and composure is non existent at the moment Last night was a real chalk and cheese, with Brighton happy to play out from the back, and doing so very comfortably. Even willing to go all the way back to the keeper, playing to feet before coming forward again Where as Kilman co...

Re: West Ham vs Burnley | PL | 8.11.25 | Prediction and Match Thread
But it took him the playing time in the championship and the Belgian league to get to the level he is currently at. He just wasn't realistically going to break into the starting 11 on a regular enough basis to get the experience needed Would he be the same player he is now if he had continued playin...

Re: Summerville
He is one of our more exciting players
but also more importantly, one of our only wingers with guilherme seemingly not favoured by any manager he has been under since joining us
Lets hope he can stay fit and injury free for the rest of the season!

If Antonio hasnt been picked up by any other team as of yet, there is probably a reason for that, and we should stay well clear!

Hoping Nuno goes for his usual 4 at the back approach today
Assuming he saw enough of JWP during his short loan spell at Forrest last season, so no need to waste time trying to flog that dead horse
First time in a few months that I'm a bit more optimistic going to a match day

In comparison to the heat Mike Ashley was under from the media before he sold, Sullivan seems to be getting away with murder

Re: Potter Out
Surely its got to the point where Potter would even need paying out of his contract now, if this isnt gross negligence i don't know what is
The constant JWP, Soucek (played out of position) and Rodriquez trio, he might as well just say fuck you in the pre match interview and be done with it

Re: Potter Out
Looks like another mid season manager merry-go-round where we refuse to spend any money on a manger, and will only pick up who ever is currently without a job (probably a good reason for that!) The money the owners spend year on year on players has been decent, yet simply unwilling to spend any mone...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
If the Kudos sale means the funds are released to sign a a couple of players that we desperately need to bring cover to the squad, then overall its not terrible my main concern is that we still have paqueta, who has sadly become a shell of his former self ever since this betting debacle has been ha...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
if you think we can get £15-£20m for a player that turns 31 next month, reportedly on +£90k a week
that we paid £15m for 3 years ago, and hasn't dramatically improved in that time
You are a very optimistic person! i hope I'm proven wrong though

Re: Antonio
this antonio in or out saga just reminds me of the whole Carlton Cole fiasco. When we released him back in 2023, only just to resign him again on the eve of the transfer window shutting as we couldn't get anyone else over the line! Its a huge thank you Mikey for everything you have done for us, but ...

Re: Graham Potter
If Potter is the right man for the job, why didn't we get in in over the summer initially? I don't understand how the board will continuously back managers in the transfer market (we are decent spenders year on year), but wont pay for a manager, leaving us to always pick from who ever is available o...
