It’s a cup game at the start of season. Use your fuckin subs!!! Why do have to watch this negative naive bollox season after season?!. Sit back and cross our fingers they don’t score. Same with Moyes, same with potter. I’m done watching this shit

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

He was given Ferguson in January who he hardly used, that's now impressing at Roma. And he was given £38M to spend this Summer and felt it absolutely critical that he go and spend that on a new Left Back and Goalkeeper we didn't urgently need first. Bollocks to feeling sorry for him when he wastes ...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

I saw that too. We went cheap in CM and paid the price. Although to be fair I will say we should have seen a bit better from those players we had Wasn't cheap though, loan fees, signing on fee and massive wages for Soler and Guido probably came to more.      Good point. Not even cheap. Very short s...

Jwp gets his third start. I’d sooner have soucek in there tonight. I sooner have neither against Sunderland

Re: New number for Nayef

He wasn’t great under Moyes, but I’m hopeful he’d be better suited to a back three. The main positive of him staying is that if he were sold, I imagine our transfer focus would shift away from central midfield — which is the area that needs the most attention.

We have LBs but neither are adept at wing back. Neither are great going forward. I think its a position we badly needed - our attack was so right sided last year. Welcome Diouf!

Oh right, sorry. I'll just agree with you all. 👍 Reason I'm saying "give it a rest" is that you're clearly just using this as another stick to beat Potter with. Guaranteed that if Potter had started him in every game you'd have been having a go at him for playing such an out of form strik...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

I'd like more ins and outs by now but I'm pleased with the players we are bing linked to. Longer term thinking seems to finally be kicking in in terms of the profiles we are looking at. I just wish we'd had this plan a year ago when we had the chance and money to properly rebuild but Lopetegui chose...

On paper looks an ideal signing. Exactly the sort of profile and price we should have been looking at this time last year - not the (mostly) shit that Loppy signed.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

I think you need to look at lopetegui for the rot setting in, that the Club acted quickly getting rid showed 'something' had gone very wrong with the players. They probably started putting feelers out for a move then and once heads were turned, Potter would be struggling to change their minds....

Well done on renewing your Blue Badge.
I have a Blue Badge. What’s your point of using this as an insult?

What's the point when others use the insult 'spaz' etc on here? Plenty gets said and a lot worse, so dont take it to heart dear.

Market value 60-70million IMO… Premium for being English… your opinions please…??? It’s a bit gutting seeing fornals playing well centrally. Could have really done with him this season over the likes of jwp, soler, Rodriguez and paqueta. He was never a wide player.

Dogshit is strong but his limitations outweigh his positives, for sure. Scored some very important goals for us and love his attitude but he should not be seen as a starter next season. Would def cash in at £20m.

This season has been an outright fucking disaster. I can count the amount of games I enjoyed on one hand. The main issue for me was the transfers in summer. Tim/Loppy/Sulivan filled the spine of our team with such cumbersome shit, on top of the cumbersome shit we already had. Throw in Kudus' terribl...

I dunno I think it’s quite hard to question manning after he has got them their highest finish in years and has vastly over achieved if you look at their spend. I think there’s a slight arrogance to think he just walks into a top half championship team particularly when he is vying for the no10 role...

Re: The Championship

I honestly think Earthy would have been better getting minutes off the bench here this season.  Manning was the wrong manager for him. Never really trusted him. The time to start him was in the home leg, not at 0-3 chasing lost fucking causes. I saw enough in the concussion game and the debut goal ...

Re: Tomas Soucek

I love soucek and want to him to stay but I would be worried if we’re not looking to replace him as a starter next season.
I would like us to offload Alvarez, JWP. Soler and Rodriguez and get two dynamic players in there who can play as a two - as well as bringing Potts back.
