Re: Team Captain
I think old school captains are a thing of the past. Look at some of them in the prem these days. Odegaard etc.

Re: Potter Out
His career at this level is over. This was his big chance. His football is turgid. He averages 3.6 shots on target per game. His set up, tactics and in game management is the worst ive seen at the club. To go with it he has the personality of a deputy head of PE at a private school. I don’t ...

Re: If Potter would get sacked who would you want IN to replace him?
The issue is only the desperate will work with us. Look at our last 4 managers, it’s not like clubs were queuing up for them. Moyes came back because he couldn’t get a job, Loppi walked out on wolves and couldn’t get a job and Potter was unemployed for 2 years, we can clearly see why that’s the c...

Re: Apathy at the London Stadium
It’s the same every game there. The is no atmosphere before, during or after games, which considering out form there is inevitable. We are the easiest away game in the prem. current and ex players have said as much in recent weeks. It ain’t getting any better any time soon.

Re: West Ham vs Spurs | PL | 13.9.25 | Predictions and Match Thread
Agree with what most have said on here. Poor team selection of a bunch of poor, slow, poor technical midfielders and no striker is suicide. Potter once again tying to be clever when simplicity earns us a result against forest. He does this time and time again. add to that the lack of any fight, ...

Re: Potter Out
I doubt it’s a willingness to pay for a new manager, more that those in a job wouldn’t come to us given the owners. similarly anyone half decent out of employment. no one wanted Moyes both times he had to take the job twice no one wanted Lopi Potter was overlooked for the big jobs so again he ha...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread
Sounds more like we are ignoring the scouting team and Sullivan and his cronies really are in charge.
either way it means we’ll end up with a few last minute loan to buy deals on extortionate wages.
because that worked well with Todibo right?

Re: Potter Out
I understand the root cause issue is the running of this club, however… Potter made the decision to bin Potts despite a good pre season, signed the new goalkeeper and replace Areola overnight but the worst part is too stubborn to change a formation that is out dated and that we don’t have the person...

The most predictable performance. Slow, sideways, backwards - not really a surprise with 8 of the 11 players on the pitch who are defensive. Potter is more negative than Moyes.

Re: Sunderland vs West Ham Utd | PL | 16.8.25 | Predictions & Match Thread
That midfield is getting done by every team in This league. Expect plenty of side ways passing from the back 3 and the 2 cms today. Surely Potts did enough pre season to get in over that dud

Re: Time for massive protests against David Sullivan!
If you step away from it, the business model is fairly sound and Sullivan and Brady has never has given a shit about the history of the club including the older fan base. Push fans away, attract more tourists, hike ticket prices and sell more merchandise on the day given most buy souvenirs. then tak...

Re: West Ham vs Manchester United | Pre-Season Friendly | 26.07.2025
We have a smaller squad than last year. We have the same Same slow midfield as last year, one which creates fuck all and had a bunch of players who love to play sideways. We have one recognised striker who without service is as useful as those that come before him. we have the same coach who spou...

Re: Potter Out
It is clear we won’t replace him. No way will we sack him before Christmas. I also doubt we’ll transform the squad as required, mainly because we won’t recoup anywhere near as much as we formed out in most of the players that will leave. it will be more of the same. The ground is dead and we de...

Re: Potter Out
Having sat in the gods yesterday stacking up the incredible atmosphere at the last home game of the season, it was shockingly clear why we don’t create chances. We don’t break quickly because our only outlet is the wing backs and when they get high up the pitch they have one player in the box, whi...

Benn looked more aggressive early on but Eubank landed more punches and had a higher sucess rate over the fight. Plus was the aggressor in the latter stages when as the older man you’d think it was the other way around. i have a new respect for Eubank jnr, showed some proper guts in there last nigh...

Re: Potter Out
He ain’t going anywhere though is he, we all know that.
he gets the pass of they ain’t my players” etc etc.
reality is and it’s the cycle at West Ham, Sullivan doesn’t rate him so he won’t back him.
if we’re not 4th favourites for the drop next season then lump on.

What the fuck has happened to us? Once know to be the gritty, passionate fans, a club with deep rooted East London tradition? Despite this club clearly going down the drain for some time, I head muted boos, not many of them given most leave before the game finished regardless of the score. Is it th...

Re: West Ham vs Brentford | League | 15.2.25 | Predictions & Match Thread
That was as bad as anything under Moyes and Loppi. First half was up there with some of the worst football I’ve seen. Second half was better but still created little. that wasn’t far from a full squad. Sickening given what we have spent. We’ve actually got a worse team than this time last seaso...
