Re: Fans banned for banner against Sunderland

I would imagine that joining them would break the rule. So why join them? A dozen separate flags held up next to each other will work.

Or a LOT of blokes with one letter painted on their torso.

What a shame.

Every time she said "bebe" I thought of the crap Man Utd forward.

No, but the likes of Barmy Flags will be able to help.

Re: Fans banned for banner against Sunderland

Solution: multiple pieces of banner within acceptable size, with fire certificate, stood side-by-side.

Re: World Cup Tickets

Nowt weirder than folk who travel everywhere to watch England play. I did France in 2016 and would do another tournament that was easy to get to, and reasonably priced. Did meet quite a few oddballs who didn't support a club team and were from places like Kettering, who follow England everywhere. S...

Ta - although I'm not sure whether that means getting there or getting knocked out!

For reference - a ticket for the AFCON Final on Sunday is £32.

Re: World Cup Tickets

I cracked and applied for a Final ticket. Delighted to be lending FIFA $4185 for six+ months. A lot of England fans were cancelling their applications in the last few days so they could reapply for different ticket bands/more tickets, so things like that will make up some of that 17,000. I'd love to...

You'll all be delighted to hear that I'm going to it again - although I'm only missing Tottenham away. Got a ticket for the 3rd Place but not the Final yet, so desperately need Morocco to get knocked out ASAP. Won't be as good as the last one where we went to Nigeria, Benin, Togo and Ghana on the wa...

Re: World Cup Tickets

I was reading about the draw and tickets. Ball I saw this, the final ain't going to be cheap. "The cheapest ticket for the 2026 final costs $2,030 (£1,510), and the most expensive is $6,000 (£4,462)." The draw is not easy to understand. If you are first out of your pot it seems pretty str...

Absolutely NOT Biscoff. They will only stand a momentary dunk.

Caramel Digestives are the correct answer. Solid, plus the caramel is wonderful heated up.

Re: World Cup Tickets

Following England at tournaments hasn't been a cheap thing for a long time. A glance at my office wall tells me I paid $150 for my Argentina-England ticket at Japan 2002, $200 for my Germany-England ticket At South Africa 2010 and $285 for Croatia-England at Russia 2018. It obviously shouldn't cost ...

Mex - it wasn't your comment I was replying to. You're absolutely right about ticket prices for this WC, but what I said below about the Euros means what Mmdc said isn't true - I paid c£330 for ALL of England's games at the Euros last year, including the Final. That's great value. I haven't bought i...
