Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
Can't believe people still think they can get anything out of Phillips. Talk about a one hit wonder. Pep really got stung on that one but he don't care. Was gutted we got old fatty Phillips and he performed as expected. The hype at the time around signing him (a City Superstar!) was laughable. Was...

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
But that's a completely separate point to 'Will he actually turn out to be decent or at least better than expected?' which is the point eusebiovic was actually making. If I thought he'd turn out to be either outstanding or awful I'd have said as much. As it is I think he is the best we can hope for...

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
I'm actually O.K with Disasi signing...He looked O.K for Chelsea until Maresca kept chopping and changing on a whim. I'm not expecting a world beater but he does have a bit of a presence and bite to his game. He is most probably pals with Magassa from when they were at Monaco so that might get some...

Re: Alphonse Areola
Should he be dropped after today's clown performance? Another lazy bit of non-scouting from our crack recruitment team. He was signed by PSG when they were interested in shelling out obscene money for anything that moved. They have since changed tack and end up finally winning the champions league....

I honestly can't understand why that wasn't given as a foul. Other way around it's a penalty. 100%

"Contrary to the values of Football guff" Club/Agent speak to try and manage damage limitation to quell anger amongst the fanbase. Like fuck he worded that. He can stick his hollow apology up his hoop. 💩 The behaviour does reflect him as he has previous for gripping others up by the thro...

Re: Alphonse Areola
That's what makes football a source of such debate
For the first goal in my view he could easily have come and claimed the cross by Fofana. He was rooted to his goal line

Re: Alphonse Areola
I wouldn't lay the blame for the Spurs or Sunderland goals at his door, but his indecision cost us one and probably two goals yesterday. It was identified as a weakness by the previous manager but we spent £20m and failed If rumours are to be believed the current manager is also looking to add someo...

Re: Alphonse Areola
Has had some great games recently, good shot stopper. Not getting much help from his defence. Chelsea's first 2 goals were on him. He didnt remotely impact the play either time He never knows whether to stick or twist I would argue the defenders dont get any help from him. Even when he does decide ...

We handed them the initiative by sitting back because that's what that Kilman sub screamed out to them did, regardless of resources, plus taking off our best player in Bowen if you can't see that, then maybe netball is your game. Kilman is shit, of course, and I was disappointed to see him come o...

3 centre backs doesn't have to be an ultra defensive option and shouldn't automatically mean a low block... its just that these three - and in particular any 3 that includes Kilman - have proved time and time again they don't compliment each other and can't do it

I fucking hate Nuno with a passion. Gets a much easier ride from the Club and sections of the fans when he has cost us losing so many points this season with how he manages games badly. We aint got a shocking Squad, we do have some genuine quality amongst it with a few hard working players to go wi...

Cucurella always at the heart of any trouble. Taty, Fernandes and Todibo all had chances. The first 2 to go 3 up I'm not laying this at Nuno's door So the subs he made were correct for managing the game? What would you have done? We were massively under the cosh with no changes because they...
