Re: Luke Littler

Today he lost the World Youth semifinal 6-5 to Beau Greaves. He had a 107 average and she averaged 105. Back down to Earth. I thought it was a bit unfair he was going into that tournament. I mean, imagine being favourite and then you are drawn against Littler? Anyhow, its turned out to be an amazin...

Re: Team Captain

Yeah. Agree with all that On that incident, and one for the refs on here, obviously Mykolenko should have gone for violent conduct (because it was) but VAR were seemingly disinterested, although it might have come under a sharper focus if Paqueta had gone down holding his chest - you know, where he ...

Re: Team Captain

I think the key is that there isn't anyone else better qualified... which, as much as anything, highlights the dearth of quality. Potter made JWP his vice captain ffs If (and its a big IF) we had a commanding defender or a combative midfielder, you'd perhaps prefer them... but we don't, which is why...

Re: Everton vs West Ham | PL | 29.7.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

Summerville is interesting as for Leeds I think he was a 1 in 4 guy, but that is the championship. What does he need to do to get that ratio in the PL?      21 goals and 10 assists in his last season at Leeds. Yeah, I realise it's the Championship. Bowen's last full season at Hull saw him score 22 ...

Re: Everton vs West Ham | PL | 29.7.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

Individual errors are always going to cost us as we have so many players so prone to them.

Dinos fuck up, Areola's kick straight to an opponent and Paqueta gifting the ball in the final third would all have cost us against better opposition... like this Saturday

Got to say, I'm obviously no fan of Lego head and hope and pray that Rice finishes his career with just one trophy, but I despise Newcastle so I liked that. Casey's been on the bench these past few weeks but he started for Swansea against Forest tonight and played the full 90.  They were 2-0 down at HT (2 goals by Igor Jesus) but won 3-2 with 2 goals in added time

Re: Brady to resign?

I'm a bit worried about defending the indefensible here. But, as far as I understand, she is in charge of business matters. I would have thought the stadium deal was her crowning glory from a financial point of view - literally everyone who isn't West Ham thinks she's pulled the LLDC's pants down. ...

He is a better player than Madueke... but it won't make a bit of difference.

Re: Nott'm Forest vs West Ham | PL | 31.08.25 | Prediction & Match Thread

I suppose the difference between fullkrug and Wilson is that Wilson can make his own goals. He’s not reliant on perfect service. Fullkrug needs to move around more. I’d be interested to see both of them play together though.    We did, for ten minutes at Sunderland. They kept bumping into each othe...
