September internationals
I'm struggling to comprehend what Marcus Rashford has done to merit starting for England.
Re: September internationals
Didn't see it but caught the line up and maybe it's because I don't watch much football these days but I haven't really heard of half of them. It seems you only need to play a handful of games for a top club and you are in the squad compared to years ago when you needed a good season or so to be noticed if lucky. Yes we have quite a few good youngsters these days which on the one hand is good but it's also a case of too many cooks. So many changes from one game to the next it's not surprising they never seem to gel as a team. Once upon a time you could pretty much name an England starting eleven bar a couple but now it seems like just pull eleven names out of a hat containing thirty odd.

Re: September internationals
He wasn't given enough time to stink games out. He only started in a game for us once Away.
That said a lot more about Potter than it ever did about Ferguson who was available for near enough every fixture. The manager failed to utilise him whilst we had him mainly kept on the Bench as we struggled to play well and score.
We really did give up a great opportunity to get him in on the relative cheap in todays market for decent young Strikers and make him a mainstay in the side for years to come. When he went to a Club like Roma though in the Summer, it was of no surprise to me knowing how good he can be when regularly playing.
And of all the Clubs to be picky over Strikers, West Ham especially under GSB aint the one to turn our noses up at Ferguson with his ability as a specialised No. 9 at his age. The way he plays he's made for a Club like ours up front and I really don't think it would have cost us much at the time this summer to prize him away from Brighton.

Re: September internationals
I see no one has mentioned Scotland got a good point yesterday.
A Bertie German coach did not work out well for Scotland.

its all a strange carry on, he was stinking the place out. No one at west ham wanted to sign him on that showing and no premier league clubs showed an interest either..
Ireland have some decent players, they really should be qualifying for the big tournaments, but it just goes to shit. Either very good or dogshit. I dont think the manager is any good

That dogshit Ferguson has scored Irelands goal though. Thank God we sent him packing and didn't try getting him on a good deal in the Summer whilst his stock was low.. Injury prone Fullkrug and Wilson were definitely the better options to go for up front for us.
Fucks sake i turned it off at 2-0.
Theres been some shenanigans with him at west ham alright.

Re: September internationals
Andorra has a population of 88,000. They lost to Gibraltar recently. Pathetic for pundits to prattle on about no easy games. Portugal put 5 past Armenia tonight - Ronaldo scored 2. It annoys me to see our players swanning around lazily in games like this - winners roll over teams like this. We are over hyped won-nothings

Re: September internationals
In the last 3 England games (2 matches at Home) against Andorra twice who are 174th ranked in the world and Senegal (18th), England under Tuchel has managed to concede 3 and score only 4 times with 1 goal thankfully coming by the way of an Own Goal.

I dont want Bowen getting injured so happy for the overrated players to get starts or appear as subs. Take Eze, you watch him now get more sub appearances or starts now he’s at one of the rich 6 outfits. He’s no better now than when he was at Palace.
I don't know how anyone can complain about Kane's inclusion, he's the best striker England have had for decades by absolute miles. The rest of the team and squad however are toss. Tuchel ain't gonna win many games if he keeps picking piss poor wanker teams like that.

Re: September internationals
Haven’t watched this but Tuchel’s England haven’t been convincing yet . Worryingly poor against MALICK DIOUFS SENEGAL
If they win on Tuesday they will be 8pts clear having played 1 more & qualification is basically done
Suspect France & Spain will be the main European contenders
The American weather won’t suit Englands chances if FIFA turn down their request to play with knotted handkerchiefs on their heads

Re: September internationals
Yes, that was an absolute snooze fest. I fell asleep during the second half.
To only score three goals in two games against bloody Andorra is shocking.
Still, "a win's a win" as the div Dixon said and these qualifiers are "nonsense" as that other div Rooney said the other day.
I agree re Madueke being overrated. Clearly Tuchel's favourite since he used to manage him.

Re: September internationals
I think the only game Rashford started for Barcelona he got taken off at h/t
Believe it was 0-2 and Barca came back to win 3-2
Presume Tuchel managed Madueke at Chelsea
Englands important game is Serbia away on Tuesday so you’d think he would pick his best team for that
If Bowen doesn’t play there with the little tubby Arsenal bloke with the dodgy hamstrings out I suspect he won’t go to the World Cup
Disappointing for him but I don’t mind him resting

Didn't see his name on the list of subs on the screen, maybe they scrolled down to reveal more names & I missed it.

Re: September internationals
Stay on the Bench son, that way you avoid injury anyway. Madueke the superstar in Bowens place who hasn't scored in his previous 14 League games, just the 1 assist. Currently one of the most overrated Premier League players.
