Here's the latest protest to surface. 
Stay in your seats after the final whistle at the Newcastle game.
This is going to test the resolve of our fans as many leave early nowadays and I'm not sure many will fancy staying if we are 3-0 down after 70 minutes.

I'll never knock any method of protest. It's the one's that moan but do nothing and carry on with the status quo who are an issue, not those organising them. Don't moan after the event if you had the chance to try and make a difference yourself.

I liked the dress up as a clown protest that was proposed. Give out red noses ( those not participating in pre match booze up ) and wigs.   Sullivan would join in unbeknownst by simply turning up in his usual clobber

The problem with a post match sit in is, after we're getting hammered 3 or 4, there won't be anybody left in the stadium to do the fucking sit in. That said any protest that shows no confidence in the board is a good thing. Well done keep it up.

What's also difficult is I think Sullivan doesn't give a fuck. He's well used to being the pantomime villain. He doesn't give a shit if we all hate him and it's not going to make him change his ways. I think it largely applies to Brady as well. We all saw him sitting gormlessly cluelessly and emotionless in his bingo caller sparkly blazer on Monday with one of the idiot sons next to him. We all saw the gorgon sitting there stone faced.

BUT, the only things that will move him to act or do anything are fear of losing out on a load of money through relegation (ie his greed) and looking bad, foolish and incompetent or being criticised and ridiculed in mainstream media (ie his pride- this is no doubt what her trigger point is as well) We already saw this in summer when he panic bought Fernandes and Magassa. No way would that have happened if we were sitting 15th, precarious but probably ok. No way would he have sacked Potter either. Those moves were all reluctant and motivated by those two fears, which are very real now. So I fully expect the wallet to be open in panic mode in January as well, unless we are already fucked. Do I expect him to curb his habit of ignoring what his manager wants and getting what HE wants? No. 

Anyway, fear number 1 is in full swing. He'll be shitting it. This is way worse than a couple of seasons ago. Way worse. We're in far deeper and tied to some dreadful players who we paid loads for and aren't worth tuppence now. He will throw good money after bad,
Fear number 2 is coming over the hill like a big monster. He will HATE all the attention about how bad he is at running a football club and how it's all his fault. This is where whatever protests are important. As long as they are written about and contextualised by his abject failure and kept in the media, then it's good and it's fuel to the fire and nudges him into action or quitting. His achilles heel is wanting to be respected as a football club owner. If anything is going to push him to act or get out the door, it's being ridiculed and shown up by the media and his peers. His ego won't want him to be remembered as a failure. To keep all the media outlets talking about what a joke of an owner he is, the protests are good. We're on telly a lot between now and Christmas as well. As long as SOMETHING happens it'll get picked up on.

The problem with in-ground demonstrations is that the place is so vast that they have limited impact. I thought the boycott was reasonably successful as there were a lot of empty seats, but they were so spread out (although at least it made the management panic and start offering low-price seats); the same with a sit-in; even anti-Sullivan chants don't have much effect for the same reason - hard to get going and sustain at the required volume. So I think pre-game protests are the best plan, where all those taking part are in one place.
But I'm not going to criticise those who are trying to organise these things, and I will support them, because quite honestly I don't know what else to do.

The fact organisers are trying anything is the more important thing. They care and are doing a damn sight more than others just moaning about how it should be done. I can't criticise them exhausting all ways to apply pressure. If Fans don't think that's good enough, then you organise a more meaningful and successful Protest then... 

NB - It was actually Bubbles who was 1 of the impromptu Protesters that had the bollocks to run on the pitch with the corner flag to kick off the Burnley protest, yet there's some now criticising the same bloke for helping to organise these other protests this season.

These people who have appointed themselves "organisers" of the protests need to stick to basics.

Vocal anti SB chants in the stadium, vocal anti SB marches and protests outside the stadium.

Anything else like boycotts and sit ins is just pointless, pathetic posturing in my opinion.

After the complete failure of Mondays boycott sitting in the stadium after the game will be even more embarrassing.
Sheff weds show how a boycott works.
Monday night v brentford on sky wouldve been 45k max and it wasn't far off that despite some reteric from the people organising it.
Sullivan shit himself at the burnley protest and thats what it needs again not letting off pathetic fucking black balloons like a 5 yr old.

It was 40k so a small success in numbers but not that visually noticeable. Lots went because "I have to support the team" but in reality it was like a morgue there, but they didn't want to miss their night out and beers with a mate.

For me personally boycotting seems a lot easier than having to watch every last second against Newcastle and have to sit in there after

I'm from the basis of try anything to put pressure on the cunts to make them as uncomfortable as possible. Static Protests, Marches, Media attention, messaging his granny missus on X, petitions, radio phone-ins, boycotts, sit-ins, balloons, banners, shove dog turd in his mailbox, chuck the fucking sink at it I don't care just as long as it eventually has the desired effect. Would probably help if the railways could squeeze in a couple of later-running Vomit Comets from Stratford to help those staying behind in getting home.

Not being a geeky choo-choo person I'd have no idea as to who to even ask for such a service - my impression of the railway companies, though, is one of "You travel when we want to run OUR trains, not when you actually want to travel."

It's a big stadium - if people are too spread out even a large number might not look like much. I'm happy to give it a go, but it does need to be a good turnout.
