WHUFC £30 discount on new shirts.

Post wils »

This press release was sent in to the site (after the event it mentions!). It's probably posted elsewhere, but with Christmas coming up it's worth posting here. There is a £30 discount available on shirts if you bring the old one in. See below:
BOYLE Sports and West Ham United launch ‘Shirt Swap’ market stall to
champion sustainability and give away this season’s new home shirt to fans

·        West Ham United’s Principal Partner BOYLE Sports hosted a market
stall ahead of their home match against Newcastle today, offered fans the
opportunity to trade in an old West Ham shirt to pick up one of this
season’s home shirts free of charge.

·        The stall was manned by former Hammers hero Marlon Harewood

·        All donated shirts will be recycled and repurposed by West Ham
United’s sustainability supplier, Birl who have worked with the Club
throughout the 25/26 season to champion sustainability.

2nd November, 2025: Ahead of their home match with Newcastle United today,
West Ham United fans had a unique chance to grab one of this season’s
shirts for free by trading in an old kit at a ‘shirt swap’ market stall run
by the club’s Principal Partner, BOYLE Sports.

Hammers supporters aged 18 and over were able to visit the stall before the
match, with a limited number of this season’s shirts up for grabs for free.
To mark the occasion, the BOYLE Sports shirt swap market stall was ran by
former West Ham United striker, Marlon Harewood, who will meet fans and
handed out the new shirts.

Fans who missed out on the one of the new shirts will be able to trade in
their old kits for up to a £30 discount on a new 25/26 replica shirt at the
West Ham United Stadium Store. Supporters will be able to complete their
trade-in at the stall via Birl's online portal then redeem their credit
in-store.

Every shirt handed in on the day will be recycled and repurposed by
sustainability supplier, Birl, ensuring the initiative leaves a lasting
impact beyond matchday. The old shirts will be transformed into new West
Ham-inspired apparel and accessories, giving cherished colours a second
life and keeping fabric in circulation.

West Ham United became the first Premier League team to work with Birl,
launching ahead of the 25/26 season which has seen fans able to exchange
old shirts for a discount on the new one.

Former West Ham United striker and Club Ambassador Marlon Harewood added:
“I played in so many iconic shirts during my time at West Ham and this
year’s home shirt is another great design, so I am looking forward to
giving plenty of new shirts to Hammers fans this weekend. I think the shirt
swap initiative the Club and BOYLE Sports are leading on is a fantastic way
to champion sustainability and engage with supporters, I am excited to be
part of it!”

This latest initiative continues BOYLE Sports’ commitment to engaging with
West Ham United on matchdays with further activations and giveaways planned
through the remainder of the season.

So we sit in against Newcastle stay away against Brentford
protest at the gates against Palace but still buy official merchandise from the club shop

If we are going to make a stand then surely giving the official club shop and merch a swerve should be part of it too.

There is plenty of other decent clobber out there that shows your colours if that's your thing without paying for theprivilege of advertising Boyle sports.

Those with kids who want the kit for Xmas then maybe its a bit more difficult to swerve.

I suppose they take the old shirts out of supply by keeping them off sites like Vinted.

Decent initiative that, if you don't want to keep your old shirt. It's good when companies are doing these things. Don't know if they still do it but they were last year when I bought a new pair of them- take in your old Doc martens to the shop when buying and they give you 20% or something like that off the price. Don't even have to be docs, just any old boots. That's fairly win win.

Or there's a 100% discount if you refuse to be ripped off and don't buy replica shirts.
