I've barely got the energy to write this but it's the Cup...we'll inevitably not try very hard, but it's a somewhat welcome distraction.

They have a striker we were interested in...Richard Kone...who no doubt will upstage the 50m we have just spent.

Predicted Lineup:
T-Rex

KWP  Kilman   Mayers   Igor

Rodriguez  Magassa

Bowen   Taty    Sumerville

Pablo
Subs:  Areola, Scarles, Mavropanos, Potts, Irving, Paqueta, Soucek, Ajala, Landers.

Predicted Score: 1-1 (lose on pens)

Enjoy 30 minute’s worth of football as entertainment by watching Big Match highlights of West Ham vs QPR in the 1975 FA Cup 5th Round.

Upton Park, muddy pitch, open game, both teams pushing forward trying to win. Proper tackles, Phil Parkes in goal for QPR, Keith Robson manhandling the referee, no VAR, no match stifling tactics, no play acting or simulation.

The same Czech National Captain and former League winning Slavia Prague Captain who even did it in the Champions League against quality opposition (drawing against Barcelona including peak Messi at Nou Camp and Inter Milan San Siro) and someone who puts their body on the line everytime he puts the shirt on, that Captain material? I can think of a lot worse in this current Squad set-up than him. Including Bowen.
ag ag ag ag You've pushed his buttons there! You're both right but in a properly run club it wouldn't be a discussion. We're stuck with a choice between a bloke who is proper captain material but not skilful or young enough to warrant an automatic start and a brilliant player who no real man would ever tolerate being told off by. What a mess!

I thought the same thing. He cost them 5 mil and is arguably better than anything we have, at least this season. When the line up's come out for the Forest game I thought they are simply a better side than us.

As for this game, we badly need a win and a cup run could lift some spirits. Expecting a strong side, whatever that is. QPR are shit.

2-0

Loss. Because of leaky defence. Especially if Todibo is rested.

Areola

That should do it.

Magassa Fernandes & Potts
Need some energy & concentrate on players we want to keep next season
Imagine Moyes will be in for Soucek in the summer
Bowen should play and be told he is staying
Even if Tuchel takes him to America he isn’t playing for England after the World Cup so the excuse of England selection doesn’t apply

We are relegated so no excuse not to go full strength if only to get some confidence back
That said I’d have liked to have seen the likes of Kante & Earthy to give them match time ahead of next season
We don’t look capable of beating ANYONE at the moment … can’t score , can’t defend … but reckon QPR will also go understrength to concentrate on making the playoffs
A nervy 2-1 with hopefully the new strikers scoring

Our players are a Midtable Championship side right now?

Going on performance of late, then it's a fair comment, comparison and observation in my humble? On paper they should be lot better, but they are not!

Best the useless wanker manager gets the best out of them then for underperforming so badly. We are too accepting of the situation at times when it really is called for and I look directly at the Board when I say that.

But of a soft spot for rangers, shit ground, decent support and their Westfield is a lot better then ours.

Be a close game as QPR about our level right now, expect to be playing them home and away next season in the Championship.

Mind you even if we do win, you just know it won't be a priority for the club and as soon as we draw someone half decent, we will crash out. Trying to do a Houdini and get out of our current predicament and somehow out of the bottom 3 by May will be all that matters.

Will go a nail biting 2-1.

Since returning from injury he had been available to play for the Manager for 10 games. He used him only once in the last 8 minutes against Fulham when we've been crying out for something different in attack. 🤡

Although I strongly disagree with the idea, its probably a good thing from our point of view that there are no replays. They would be more than capable of holding us to a draw then dumping us out at their place. Obviously depends on which 11 Nuno sends out so I'll go 2-1 to us.

I'm dreaded the game because it has all the ingredients to go to absolute ratshit and out the Cup at Home to lower League midtable opposition in a London Derby at the 1st time of asking. My biggest concern is the likes of Bowen remain fit and don't get injured.

I still love the cup so im looking forward to this, we're not staying up - he needs to pick a strong team and give it a go.

i had a look earlier in the week at tickets and apart from the ones up in the sky it seems pretty much sold out. I know qpr have 9000? If the prices are reasonable - 30 quid, people will come over there.

Going back to Bristol City.

Shame he can't take Potts with him.
I would rather he got more Premiership experience. We have nothing to lose league wise now!
