Time for a bit of jive talking: PL games predictions for 10th, 11th & 12th February 2026.

Post Mike Oxsaw »

Premier League
Tuesday, 10 February 2026 19:30
Chelsea v Leeds United
Venue: Stamford Bridge
League Positions: 5 v 16
Current Forms: 33 v 27

Leeds whooped the mighty Forest last Friday evening, but this match will be an entirely different thing all together. Chelsea strolled 3 first-half goals past Wolves (who hasn't, eh?) and could then afford to ease off the gas. Won't mention the fact that we need a big favour from our London neighbours, though.

Prediction: Home Win
Premier League
Tuesday, 10 February 2026 19:30
Everton v A. F. C. Bournemouth
Venue: The Hill Dickinson Stadium
League Positions: 8 v 11
Current Forms: 28 v 28

With both a higher league placing (how?) and home advantage, and Bournemouth only drawing with Villa (screwing my acca - What a pisser!), would be a brave man to predict anything other than a:

Prediction: Home Win
Premier League
Tuesday, 10 February 2026 19:30
Tottenham Hotspur v Newcastle United
Venue: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
League Positions: 15 v 12
Current Forms: 18 v 2

The meeting of the mighty, mid-table monoliths. Newcastle's current form really is atrocious - last points they got was from a draw 4 league games ago. Yes, yes I remember. I had lasagne...

Prediction: Home Win
Premier League
Tuesday, 10 February 2026 20:15
West Ham United v Manchester United
Venue: The London Stadium
League Positions: 18 v 4
Current Forms: 33 v 42

Blimey & Blinkey-flip! Carrick's dead cat is displaying all the properties of a super-ball or blob of Silly Putty.  Can we stop them making it 5 wins on the bounce?

3rd place in the table is up for grabs for one of these teams. Can't say which one.

"How soon will we know?".
"I can’t tell".
"You can tell me. I’m a dipstick" .
"No, I mean I’m just not sure".
"Can’t you take a guess?".
"Well, not for another two hours".
"You can’t take a guess for another two hours?"
"No, no, I mean we won't know the score for another two hours".

Pathetic. Must try harder, but, hope springs eternal.

Prediction: Draw
Premier League
Wednesday, 11 February 2026 19:30
Aston Villa v Brighton & Hove Albion
Venue: Villa Park
League Positions: 3 v 14
Current Forms: 23 v 9

Villa will be furious after giving 2 points away on Saturday, and Brighton equally disappointed losing at home to Palace (relegation rivals? Don't you believe it - we're as good as down safe). If they want to hold onto 3rd place then a win is vital. I suspect they'll get it.

Prediction: Home Win
Premier League
Wednesday, 11 February 2026 19:30
Crystal Palace v Burnley
Venue: Selhurst Park
League Positions: 13 v 19
Current Forms: 19 v 8

Well, if Palace were to choose a game to ensure that they poured light between us and them, this would be their 2nd choice. There is no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you enjoy the rest of your night. Their win at Brighton will have been a massive, massive confidence boost. As for Burnley? I've a sneaking suspicion that they won't be playing in the Premier League next season.

Prediction: Home Win
Premier League
Wednesday, 11 February 2026 19:30
Manchester City v Fulham
Venue: The Etihad Stadium
League Positions: 2 v 10
Current Forms: 39 v 12

Can City catch Arsenal? Surely you can’t be serious. Looks highly unlikely, but that will be down to points dropped earlier in the season. I am serious. And don’t call me Shirley. Fulham? Looks like their season has already fizzled out...but they've still got more chance of European football than we have. Let's face it, everybody's got more chance of European football than we have. What? Oh! The game tonight.

Prediction: Home Win
Premier League
Wednesday, 11 February 2026 19:30
Nottingham Forest v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Venue: City Ground
League Positions: 17 v 20
Current Forms: 19 v 5

Bear in mind that Forest seem to be working their way out of the woods today. Que'll surprise!  Can Wolves do their "Grandma" trick again? You know, the one they did against us. Seriously and surely doubt it. And stop calling me Shirley. Just want to tell them both bad luck. We’re all counting on them. But, sadly:

Prediction: Home Win
Premier League
Wednesday, 11 February 2026 20:15
Sunderland v Liverpool
Venue: Stadium of Light
League Positions: 9 v 6
Current Forms: 23 v 24

Fag paper's worth of difference in current form, but Liverpool just can't seem to get their mojo workin'. Two teams that could finish up in league place  8. Place 9. Place 10…Place 13…Place 14…Place 15…

Prediction: Draw
Premier League
Thursday, 12 February 2026 20:00
Brentford v Arsenal
Venue: Brentford Community Stadium
League Positions: 7 v 1
Current Forms: 0 v 0

Brentford, for me are this seasons biggest surprise after their summer staff losses, so don’t start with that ‘relegation zone’ shit again! But Arsenal. Arsenal. Arsenal. Arsenal.

Do you think Starmer's surreptitiously let it be known that there are gongs involved for those who help the team he follows win the title? People will be saying next that he had absolutely no idea about Mandelson's past....err...sorry, wrong thread. As you were. And as for badly misquoted lines from Airplane! I can't even roll in a Turkish prison comment about Arsenal's next game in Europe.

Prediction: Away Win
As if by magic! Directly from the east at dawn over Mucho Grande!

Chelsea v Leeds United -
Everton v A. F. C. Bournemouth -
Tottenham Hotspur v Newcastle United -
West Ham United v Manchester United -
Aston Villa v Brighton & Hove Albion -
Crystal Palace v Burnley -
Manchester City v Fulham -
Nottingham Forest v Wolverhampton Wanderers -
Sunderland v Liverpool -
Brentford v Arsenal -

& my weekday acca? Very civil of you to ask.

Manchester United (Away @ West Ham United 4/6)*
Aston Villa (@ Home to Brighton & Hove Albion 20/23)
Chelsea (@ Home to Leeds United 8/15)
Manchester City (@ Home to Fulham 3/10)

Total stake: £16.50
Potential returns: £55.83

* - yes, yes, I know already. My acca only takes difference in league placings into account and so may not line up with my predictions.

We'll see mate.

I think they're due another win, and Forest are under immense pressure. Let's hope they crumble.

If Wolves get a result tonight, I reckon Dyche will go.
Not sure, that would be a gamble.
Keep in mind who their owner is.

Slightly worrying that DeZerbi just got sacked and Franks been sacked… DeZerbi to spurs? Not a good look.

Forest can catch spurs points-wise tonight, but will never overturn their -12 goal difference to move above them...yet.

As has been pointed out, spurs next game is at home to Arsenal, while the next game for Forest is at home to Liverpool.

Out of the two ties, I suspect Forest have the better (although not a great) chance of coming out of their respective match with something.

Catch & overtake spurs,? Well, it's not Millwall, but is probably the best incentive we'll ever get this season.

Apparently he has a good relationship with the hierarchy there and they still have faith, also cutting him some slack due to their injuries, so looks like he will stay for now.

Spurs don't play again for 10 days so if there was ever a time to put Frank out of his misery it could be now.

Spurzzz run in now to the end of the season is proper minging. Even more so when they hate playing in their own toxic shithole of an expensive Stadium. Starting with 3 London Derbies in a row...
