"Although it's annoying seeing someone with talent waste it, by the same token, you have to be pleased if they stop wasting it - even if it is very, very late. Of course, this might be the nth flash in the pan."

"No doubt there’s been issues over the years but he seem to be holding it together, he’s playing regularly for derby. Good luck to the lad."

"Funny thing is if against Spurs he had the ball on the halfway line with just 1 defender and the goalie to beat, I would not be surprised that he scored again."

"Sorry but that’s gotta be a wind up. As if we’d offer a contract to that waste of space. We signed PDC as an established player in the PL with a decorated career in Italy & with Celtic. Ravel Morrison hasn’t had a decent game in 7 years, he’s done. Bombed out of every club he’s been at."

Everyone thought we were mad when we signed an ageing and bonkers Di Canio

Sign and get him registered tomorrow and stick him for the last 15 mins on Sunday. I've love a repeat of the last time.

"Strong rumour that we are looking at him with Lingard having an influence. He vouches for him. Contract to the end of the season with a further 2 yr option in our favour. Lowish wages, clear agreement on behaviour and a chance for him to settle down, get fit and prove himself. Unlikely he will get a game this season but will bulk the squad just in case. Worse case scenario is he gets canned off. Mid case scenario is he does ok, earns the contract and becomes a saleable asset. Best case scenario is that we get his best 2 yrs as a useful squad player. The club are also willing to back him in the legal challenge from Allardyce and Curtis which could get very tasty."
