"Wasnt a bad player just not suited to our style of isolating the centre forward 40yds from anyone else. Ironically think he may have been better this season with the likes of Paqueta, JWP & Alvarez forcing us forward a bit more and joining up the play"

"I don't understand why Italy haven't got Scamacca up top on his own, aimlessly knocking it long to him?"

Southgate sitting there thinking what might have been if he had picked Henderson. Blokes a cսnt for picking Phillips.

"Story of two ex Hammers, one misses the interception, the other puts it in the net! To be fair I reckon even Danny Ings would have scored that."

Wtf is the matter with David Southgate. He picks two players who don't play for their clubs and in the last game picked someone who plays in a sandy semi-retirement league. It's like he has to play his favourites.

"We won't be able to call anyone greasy, diving, garlicky, cheating, spick cunts soon, mark my words. The world's gone mad. Seriously though, I still have a grudging respect for the fuckers though as until recently they have always found a way, using every trick in the book to ensure they do come out on top. A lot of that stuff is now the bread and butter of the English game but we need to remember a time when shenanigans like the Italians pull were truly shocking to Englishmen. For me it makes what we did in Prague look even more impressive."
