"I just can’t believe we’re spending 150 grand a week on a player who isn’t going to get or make any goals. More importantly to get him up to speed we’re going to have to let him play badly at the same time. I said it before he came, I just don’t understand why he is here. And no way can he replace Alvarez. Not at this time."

That was a worrying performance. Lots of shots but no real goal threat. Without Paqueta I can’t see where our next win comes from.

I was surprised we did quite well early on. Then Aguerd was waltzed around for their first then an Aguerd deflection for the second. What was clear was that having an attack minded midfielder in Ben Johnson changed our team performance compared to Bournemouth game. It showed that we still don’t have a striker because Bowen is a wing striker FFS! He can play there but why when we’ve had more than 2 years to get one worthy of the name.

"The scoreboard is again misleading We were winning and drawing games with poor performances and today overall was a decent performance but we lost. It was not But today its been about quality in certain positions and especially in front of goal. We should have scored at least 2 and once behind had to chase the game and got done twice. The Moyes failings? Playing Soucek as always, dropping the Greek who had done ok last couple of games and not seeing the need for a central forward for the 6th window running Bowen is not a central forward. Put Kudus there. No complaints from me on overall prrformance though Johnson, Alvarez, Emerson, Kudus, all good in that order Areola/ Fab, Coufal, Zouma ( defending only ) all “ok” Soucek, JWP, Aguerd not good enough. subs: nowt to say other than Phillips looks so slow and weak like a player who needs half a season to get back to his best levels. Cant get any worse for him?"

"You know what, that might be me done until he's fucking gone. It's not healthy to be this fucking pissed off every fucking game. It's no fun watching us win or lose. The incompetence is infuriating. Fuck this."

"Disappointing second half. Neither sharp nor decisive enough in front of goal. Kudus went off the boil, Cornet ineffective, Phillips still out of touch, Emerson lacking spark and what the fuck has happened to Bowen?"

"The fact I read people saying we were playing well shows just how low this wanker has set people’s expectations. Aside from a couple of set pieces, we didn’t look like scoring at all. An absolute load of shit. He’s absolutely ruining Bowen because he’s shit scared to sign a striker. For 70 minutes, we had two players who’s best position is right wing (and two of our best players) playing out of position, with an average fucking right back occupying that spot. Get him out the club."

Thrashed by a very poor Manure side just shows how little progress we have made under this dinosaur tactician.. Changes are needed now before we free fall. It was suicide not signing a striker and defensive reinforcements in the window. Another thrashing will follow next weekend and fingers crossed we could be seeing the end nearing..

"I only caught the second half, but that looked like the best we played in ages. It’s ironic that we’ve been shit and fluking wins and draws. We had half the possession and 22 shots but only 3 on target. A very flattering score for Man Utd, but our luck has run out. Positive for Johnson. He played everywhere and put in a good shift."

Aguerd and Phillips did not help On that Mavropanos should be ahead of Aguerd and Phillips? 2 games 2 mistakes leading to conceding 2 goals! Expensive getting him up to speed.

"There is so little fight in us today, and since the first of they year really. Phillips is turning out (so far) to be exactly what i feared: an expensive marginal upgrade (if any) that prevented us from addressing gaping holes elsewhere on the pitch. Silver linings: we're not in a relegation battle (because I don't think we would be up for it) and phillips didn't not want to come here. Could be a long second half if Paqueta's calf injury turns out to be half as bad as cornets. Where was Johnson meant to be playing before coufal went off. Looked like a libero. Done okay, but surely we could have used Cornet or someone more attacking in that role. Bowen is in appalling form."

"Phillips mistake for 3-0, but a lesson in how to score a goal when presented a chance. Meanwhile we are reduced to Row Z target practice form edge of the area. Down the table we tumble."

"Yep plenty of the ball but nothing doing in the final third. Crosses aren't beating the first defender. Lines badly fluffed when we do get decent chances. They have been both clinical when it mattered and lucky today with a deflection for the second, but there you go goals win games."
