"Agree with Cornet, there could be a player in there. There certainly was before he joined. But him and Ings both squandered chances that they should be burying if they want to get anywhere near the first team."

"Is anyone actually surprised by that tonight? The performance OR the result? If so, can you WHOmail me I've got some magic beans for sale. Awful.on all counts. And the annoying thing is.it was so fucking predictable, that I'm not even that angry. I was just resigned to it. Fucking moyes has taken all the fun out of this. Thr players weren't motivated, they're not sharp as half of them are not maths fit and the other half have been run into the ground. Jwp is NOT a cDM. Ings can not play up top on his own. Creswell is not young enough to start any games and soucek is not a footballer. Benrehma can fuck off too. Poorly treated over the year, confidence player with no confidence any more, whatever, but that petulant kick out was disgraceful. Wasn't the reason we lost though. When we eventually brought on 2 young attackers there was no service whatsoever. Genuinely considering not renewing next year if this cսnt is still.in charge."

"Gonna give another perspective... I'm so glad Bowen, Kudus, Alvarez etc were not playing as to be fair, this shit isn't worth all the injuries you get from playing these shitty teams who only want to kick you to pieces. We aren't built for this type of game. We haven't the squad for this type of game. I dont care what division they are in. The ref was horrendous, gave us no protection at all, and then sends one of ours off.. fuck that shit. Creswell got whacked as well but assistant ref didn't see that one either. It's all bollocks. The reality is they barely had a shot on goal despite being 1 man up and only got their goal because of a mistake. They're shit, they will get knocked out next round. We were never going to win it so let's concentrate on high level football not rugby and forget about this bollocks. Also, while I'm at it, Johnson looked good, better than Coufal. It's silly to sell him. Cornet got better the more the game went on. Not saying he's great, but the guy needs games ffs. How does anyone get good at 1st team football if they dont fucking play? It's just stupid. You have to plan to bed players into the team otherwise the squad is useless. what is the point? Moyes might as well come on himself!"

"We need better leaders on the pitch, someone who will lead by example fire up those around him and influence referee's We looked a soft touch tonight and last Sunday whilst the referee was oblivious to the dark arts that City were dishing out. Maybe VAR has stopped players contesting decisions and imposing themselves like they used to. We need to add some steel and nous before they are all taking the piss."

All I want to watch is a well drilled side that can attack with some regular intent….we’ve just had it confirmed that we won a European cup by mainly beating teams no better than our League 1…..

"Bristol City were up for it more than us. Ings, Cornet, Benni - they need to be moved on. Should have put the youngsters on earlier."

"If ever there was a demonstration of poor squad management and dinosaur training methods that was it. Those Internationals were shocking while Bristol city were able to pass around us with or without 11 men. We looked frightened of the ball couldnt string 3 passes together against a championship team. Soucek back to being a passenger which is what he is if he doesnt score, Benny, ings and Cornet not match fit.. a few sub appearances 10 mins here and there is not enough to maintain match sharpness. Zouma at fault for the goal as much as Dinos doesnt track back with the scorer if he had just maintained a yard or two behind he cuts out that shot just lazy.. Cresswell legs have gone which in a full back is 90% of your game. Thought Marshall looked sharp Mubama nowhere near good enough.. Moyes to blame for mismanagement get rid."

Absolutely shit but also hardly surprising given what’s been served up by Moyes recently. 1-0 down in a cup game and he waits 79min to make any attacking changes? Benrahma can fuck off but let’s not pretend that we looked like scoring. I’ve said it repeatedly but we have zero idea how to break teams down aside from: Corners. Them giving it away and us breaking on them. Bit of Paqueta magic. The squad simply has no pattern of play aside from sitting in a low block. Any minor amount of pressure on the ball and we give it away or hoof it. In possession we’re fucking shit. Emerson is the only one who ever actually goes forwards with the ball or runs ahead of the ball.

Blame injuries as an excuse all you like - that starting eleven tonight cost £190m That's our 'greatest ever manager' for you

"The worse of Moyes, tonight. Despite the injuries, a club the size of West Ham should have a much stronger squad, but we all know that. His use of substitutions was atrocious, but we all know that. I'm not a staunch Moyes Out man, but I wouldn't care if he went. Liam Manning could be a good choice. He's definitely on the up and will manage a Prem team sooner than later."

"Bristol are shit just a bunch of cloggers out to kick you injured out of the game. Should have been given 2 reds one for Williams and is Cresswells head still on. Having said that we gave them the game, masters of our own downfall, poor back pass and a stupid sending off."

Absolute dogshit. The only bright sparks were that hopefully that's the last time I ever have to see that useless cսnt Benrhama. Marshall looked promising.

"Hmmm well that went well I have never seen an argument to play Soucek as anything but a centre forward. His only attribute is aerial ability and notching the odd goal. He couldn’t even take a throw in tonight. Without our 3 best players the others get exposed as limited. Fabianski - old and while tge Stavros back pass was underhit another younger keeper just gets there Coufal - all heart and effort but not good enough technically and too slow. Neees replacing in first 11 Stavros - poor first 5 - 10 mins. Needs to work on cutting out the rickets but he played ok after that and can get better I think Zouma - age and injuries catching up. Needs replacing as first choice Cresswell - finished , good servant but needs replacing Emerson - out best player imo on the night and technically sound unlike most his teammates Cornet - rusty and off the pace but improved and needs to okay in his position wide left. Don’t think he’s good enough for the first team but ok for the squad JWP - doesn’t do set pieces much any more. Neat and tidy and technically sound but need alternatives to replace him in some games. Need a real engine in midfield with strength, pace and technique to bring in with Paquera, Alvarez etc Soucek - worst player on the pitch for in involvement. Even as a striker ( which all he should be as he adds nothing to midfield ) he missed the gilt edged chance he got. Ings - never going to work in Moyes system and looks to be in a sharp decline Benrahma - razzle dazzle and no end product. Needs to be shipped out Johnson - not good enough technically with passing and control. Decent in other ways . Best shipped out Mubama - won’t make it a Prrm level as his technique is atrocious. Shame. Marshall - did a couple of nice things including great thru ball. Let’s see how he develops and would like to see more of him Moyes - won’t relegate us but won’t progress the squad and will waste a lot of money"

We were not great but we’re missing 4 of 5 of our best players. That said we missed maybe 3 clear cut chances? Ings / cornet and a Soucek?

"How the fuck are we 6th in the League? Yet another in a long line of Hammer cup horrors over years. An embarrassing two ties against a crap side but Moyes will probably be pleased as it's one less fixture to worry about. Soucek is a bloody horrendous footballer, a bowl of potato salad stuck in the centre circle would do more. Mav had a bloody nightmare and others weren't much better, wtf has happened to JWP or is he another in a long line who seem to get worse under Moyes. Getting fed up with the media banging on about Moyes cup win, he can't dine out on it forever. Perfect opportunity to have had a winnable tie after this one. If we are to move forward we need someone else and arguably only Paqueta, Alvarez, Bowen, Areola ,Emerson and JWP if he gets his form back are really good enough, although can't see Paqueta staying forever and Bowen may start getting itchy feet. That's of course if we even have a ground if Gonzos recent videos are to be believed!"

"Squad is stripped bare. Ings is finished, Benrahma stupidity and lack of VAR did for us. They could have had 2 reds but were the hungrier team. No complaints"
