"This thread and the efforts of Charley, MPI et al is one of best things on this site. My FINAL maintenance payment is due to the ex in March (8.5 years of it). I'll add something to the fund in April. Cheers"

"When we suddenly lost Gavros I had to quickly set up a fund, it already owed me money which was paid back when the new go fund me page was set up. So any contributions from go fund me go through my main current account I then transfer it to an old dormant joint savings account that I used for my son. When I get time would like to set up some kind of charity account that both myself and MPI can have access to, keeeps everything above board and without being morbid if I kick the bucket, we need to make sure funds can still be accessed"

"Hi Ted, Good to see others thinking about the fund and growth. It isn't at the moment as the best of these are online and only work from in and out payments from one account so it would boil down to one of us having to pass the money through our own account. That might have to be the way of it, but we would like to avoid that if possible."

"As reported earlier in the year Not a comprehensive list, but your money has been used to enable us to send to Dennis Lepine fund, Irons foodbank, Hammers stuck in Zagreb, Go fund me page for Chrissy in the USA who has cancer, a donation to Chas family for funeral costs. funeral flowers for west ham fans who have passed We have been able to help four Whoers who were having a number of difficulties we managed to WHOer No.1 who we got back to the UK and he is continuing to pay the loan off monthly(now owes £600) WHOer No.2 has paid his £168 loan off, WHOer No.3 we have loaned £500 to, we have sorted a payback arrangement Disappointedly the final WHOer who contacted me and had been walking the streets for two nights, soaking wet and had nowhere to go we paid £353.50 for a couple of nights accommodation and for food and travel costs and he has decided not to maintain contact in order to pay back what he owes the fund, he also got a great deal of support from Pents, Block & MPI, this is the first one that has let us down and myself and MPI are going to try and put something together to see how we can prevent this, but very difficult when somebody contacts you, who is homeless and you have to make a quick decision, as I have always said you have to take people on trust and it’s on their conscience if they choose not to pay back the money. I think the fund has been excellent in helping people in so many different ways. I am very grateful to MPI, Pents and Block for their assistance in helping me and others not just with funds but with support and of course all of you wonderful people who have contributed. There were a number of suggestions to call our support group on whatsapp, The Avengers, Guardians of the Boleyn, but in the end we settled for Charleys Angels So I expect at the end of 2023 without any further contributions, with projected loans paid back to be around £1600, but at the moment we could do with an injection of cash as we currently only have around £550 £1,289.48.... .OPENING BALANCE £2,888.04..... GO FUND CREDITS £4,177.52..... Total In after fees -£3,622.86..... Total money out £554.66.....BALANCE £1.81 Interest Balance as of 3rd Jan 2023 = £556.47 Finally thanks again, to our team Captain MPI, who helps me, to ensure the fund is being used in the best possible way, he also gets a spreadsheet from me with all the incoming and outgoing funds for him to audit."

"Indeed. Find a more suitable thread onto which you can spew your obvious bile & bitterness. Or, of course, go Scoucer and claim victim status for your past life."

"No need to trawl back so far to find an excuse to bump this thread as it's been pinned for ages. Still, I expect those actively involved in the project - both donating & receiving - appreciate your purity of thought in showing that you felt the need to spend time in just drawing attention to it."

"Life can be a real headfuck at times, I really hope anyone who (WHO) needs it can lean on some of us if they think we can help. I've always said the West Ham family step up for their own, and I hope that continues long after I've gone."
