"COYI - Well Zouma already has one foot out the door, Aguerd and Cornet no longer even make the bench, so I don't see how they can stick around, particularly the Moroccan who surely wants/needs to play. JWP and Ings likely depends on fee/wages and their motivation to want to leave. Suspect there will be suitors for both."

"I'd be delighted to see all five of those has beens/ losers go, Manuel. If they all go and we get in a new midfielder and centre forward it would make this transfer window slightly less disastrous."

"I recall that JWP had a season or two where he found himself on the bench at Southampton when they were doing relatively well. He ibviously has his set piece abilities ( although they were imo not quite as effective as I’d hoped after a good start last season) and is neat and tidy with keeping the ball moving. But thats it. He’ a bit too lightweight in challenges and protecting the ball ( physicality as they now call it ) and yet another who’s a bit one paced so cannot compensate by being rapid when pressing. Hence, like Soucek, can go missing for long periods in games especially against the better teams. He is also a moresellable asset . And now with Rodriguez and Alvarez it makes sense to me to sell one of him or Soucek to facilitate bringing in a better player in Soler. Strengthen the squad. In short, JWP does not contribute enough if not making goals or scoring them from set pieces and he wasnt doing much of that after a decent start. And he’s approaching 30. And on a decent wage. And we need more wquad places for bring 1 or 2 more in. If we can get £15 mill or more its hard to see why we wouldnt shift him? Besides at 30 he needs to play most weeks."

I think O'Riley could do very well at Brighton. Surprised there wasn't more interest in him.

Selling ward prowse seems bonkers to me. Proven premier league player that chips in with goals and also a great corner taker. Don’t like it one bit.

"I don't think JWP is the type who will be happy bench warming, so quite optimistic he could go, fee could well be a sticking point though. Aguerd is not even making the bench, so surely he will have to go. Rumour is the club have the hump with him after rejecting moves to Turkey and Saudi."

Santiago Gimenez has just turned down Forest. £29 million is the price. At least worth a short hop on the jet for Tim.?

"british is best 9:16 Mon Aug 26 ''The most accurate ITK I've seen this summer. Is pezza on kumb and in the brown stuff. He's absolutely adamant a £40m plus players still coming in'' I don't see that happening now. Apart from the 40 mil there are only 4 days left now and transfers of that size tend not to happen late in the window, it's more scraps and loans etc. You do get the feeling though that we want another 9, maybe Tammy on some kind of loan. I'd be very surprised to see Toney or Duran at this point."

Everybody having a go at Fullkrug is a bit unfair. I liked him when he came on as a sub in the Euros and Germany were unlucky I thought when Spain knocked them out late in their quarterfinal. Give the bloke time to settle in and I think he will be decent for a couple of years. Antonio looks like a busted flush these days but he will have to do if our dosh has run out.

All the stuff that goes on seems strange Forest can buy a player and send them to Olympiakos. When he owns both clubs surely there should be something to stop that type of thing.

If we end up with Fullkrug & Abraham for more than we could have got Duran for (however overpriced he was) there have to be questions asked.

"“Cannot imaging bringing in Abraham with an obligation to buy. Way too many question marks over him. ACL injuries generally aren't kind to someone with his kind of frame.” I don’t think we should worry about his acl, I think it is his ability to actually be any good is the main concern, he is so overrated, and I hope we do not sign him."

Not seen any other interest in Toney except for Saudi & no one is paying him those sort of wages. Needs to make up his mind whether he wants to stay in London on a decent deal or retire to the sandcastle league
