Russ - agree with all of that. If Kaba was white (or the armed policeman was black) there is no way this would be getting this level of attention.

That is mainly because of the victim mentality displayed almost every time a person of colour is involved in a high profile incident. This has happened for as long as I can remember - the first one in my memory being when Keith Blakelock was murdered.

I’m waiting for the riots, arrests and severe jail sentences.

 

I think the saddest part of all this is that a man that sacrifices his personal safety and puts his life on the line every time he attends a call, all for the freedom of the public to be maintained, now has a bounty on his head from the criminal underworld. 

Why was he even named? Surely, based on the job he does, he has a right to anonymity up to the point of being found guilty. Now we have a situation whereby, even though found NOT guilty, he now cannot work as a firearms officer anymore and, no doubt, he and his family will have to move away and live under police protection. 

Is this really the way that a civilised country should be treating these invaluable officers? 

BLM is one of the most dangerous and divisive organisations in this country. Yet they don't get the same treatment as the NF and other right wing organisations. And, let's get it right, BLM have won - Even though he has been found not guilty and Kaba's criminal life has been shown for what it was. The officers life is now ruined, and the state, CPS and the government have stood by and allowed it to happen. 

And as for Diane Abbott - Well, all i can say is, if you are that racist and that thick then you are very dangerous. 

Abbotts comments are far less awful than Khan's. Should be forced to resign immediately.

I work with an ex fire arms cop, 9 years he did it for and never fired a shot in anger.

anyways, he reckoned if the plod was found guilty then that would be the end of armed police in uk as no one would be prepared to do it.
