I'm up in Manchester this weekend and spoke to a few City fans last night. They are well up for it and they reckon the FA cup still means a lot  to them. Think the fact that they were well into their 50's explains their keenness, they, like a lot of us remember when cup final day was huge. They were saying it's the younger modern fan who rubbish it.

Like to see Palace win it, got nothing against them and like Tak,enjoy watching them play

I hear you, but this season has completely drained my enthusiasm for football...at a time in my life where I should only really be partaking - and spending my money on -  leisure activities.

Pah!

If we beat Forest then that ensures neither The Lily(livered)whites or Mighty, Mighty Red Deviants end the season above us. How often has that happened?

Our game's much more worthy of my attention this weekend.

Once apon a time, this was the only live TV English club football match available. It was a serious major event. I still feel like that. As a club match without West Ham it is for me the most important.

It actually means something to Palace and their fans. Man City couldn’t even get excited about winning the Champions League.

I have to try and put aside my jealousy and root for a Palace win.

Ultimately, for me I have no interest unless we are playing.
