Newsflash...it's not Kappa....but in my opinion they look shite.
Anyway, supposedly these are very very close to what the actual kits look like.
Hate the claret socks. Looks like a Burnley kit.

Wasn't there supposed to be a ban on shirt betting sponsorship coming in ?
A lot of these designs are just recycled from previous shirts a decade or two back
I still have a fair collection of 90s & noughties shirts but haven't purchased any for at least 15 years.
There is definitely a certain percentage of support that will buy the new shirt as soon as a new one cames out regardless of how crap the design is.
There even used to be a middle aged QPR fan who sat next to my mate who would according to him turn up at Loftus road every game wearing the full kit astro trainers and on occasion shin pads
I believe he is now in an institution.
I do hope nobody would go to those lengths at the bowl.

You lot moan about fucking everything - lack of transfers, bad kit, terrible owners, shit ground etc etc etc
Your lives must be so empty.
The kit looks alright, it’s not supposed to be fucking haute couture.

Can someone explain the launch video. Oranges? Time? I don’t get it.

Designed by David Blunkett.
Look forward to seeing a load of starving africans in it in a few years time after they have been tossed out in the charity bin. Make a fucking boat out of them and sail from Calais

Looks proper two bob and bland (bar the collar and sleeve detail). Last season's kit was close to perfection by comparison.

I travel back to the UK quite a lot and often pop into the West Ham shop in Romford to pick up various bits of tat that only a fellow hammer would recognise where my retirement home is in Thailand. This new kit is most certainly something I will not be buying (Boo-Hoo, Sullivan, ( Ha-Ha) Boo-Hoo).
Probably find much more authentic West Ham in one of the many charity shops dotted about the place,

Easily the worst kit in the history of the club.
Coincidentally with the worst owners in the history of the club.
RIP
It’s certainly crap. But that Scoreline one from 1987-1989 really was utter SHITE!
I think the scoreline one is quite iconic now. Going for big money now on eBay, and that was a happy time for me to be following west ham, even if we were shit. The kit I dislike the most is that pony/Dagenham motors monstrosity for the centenary with the collar. Looked good on no one at all

The more I see it I am sure that's totally the wrong shade of claret.

Awful kit. Hopefully the new kit maker will come up with something better for the promotion push in 2026/27

the "template" was a flat lay of the Villa kit which he snipped the corner of and posted it as something his mate had sent him.
talk about desperate.

Just in case it needs saying - Kappa were never in the running and therefore did not ever produce anything. Manufacturers don't approach the Club with designs, they approach with financial offers.
NB deal was signed some time ago, and certainly not "last minute" - it takes months to get large-scale numbers of kits produced and shipped, and that's after months or back-and-forth about kit designs.
The "taster" was exactly the same as the fantasist's Castore nonsense (which was really a Spanish second division team, IIRC) the other year.

El Simpleton,
I was sent those taster pics from an ITK mate. They were genuine WHU kits made by Kappa (there is such thing as kit templates btw, which is why they looked similar to that Villa kit).
But after all that, the club pulled the plug on the deal last minute and extended with Umbro for a further year.
I think I speak for us all when I say I wish we got Kappa like what was agreed.

On The Testes,
Stop acting like you’re some sort of ITK.
You claimed the shorts on the home kit were gonna be blue
You claimed (made up) that it was manufactured by another company. And was an old Villa training kit.

Trundle - not an individual, it's basically a committee. And I passed that feedback on months ago when the whole thing was claret - and thankfully they listened (not to me, but the many others who said 'fuck no').

Yep, it's dreadful and will be the worst-selling in years.
But however dreadful it is, remember that it was originally ENTIRELY claret, with claret shorts and claret socks. No blue.
The away is poorly executed but I should say that the third is a corker.
Are you able to pass on any feedback to the bloke at the club who makes decisions on things like this?

The upside of having a gambling sponsor is that plain ones are available Apart from it being £75 It looks quite wearable.
