If he stays fit and puts a shift in when called upon he could do ok for us.

The jury may be out but I would get behind him the same as any player who pulls on the shirt.

Its not Wilson we should really be directing most of our frustration at but Sullivan and his family ( Dave Jnr now involved in recruitment of Wilson and KWP).  It was Sullivan that wanted and got Ings in and not at Moyes request, and it was Sullivan that ignored Noble, Steidten, others including Brady to insist on appointing Lopetegui ( using his veto power etc ), it was also Sullivan who allowed himself to have 3 picks, and gave Steidten and Lopetegui 3 transfer picks last summer. What club opetates in such an outdated, farcical and amateur way?  And he is now behind this Brazilian goalkeeper the cheap option who doesnt play short and build up from the back to suit Potters system and is also OLD.  This one is thru Wille Mackay the third of his agent mates he has used over the last 15 years.  

Sullivan is a narcissist, a meglomaniac that continues to be THE BIGGEST PROBLEM at West Ham.

But i suppose he is here now so like it or loathe it, let's hope he can have some positive impact and get some goals.

Saw him interviewed and he is aware he's not popular and wants to make amends (but then i suppose he would say that) gets a luke warm welcome to West Ham from me, give him a chance at least before getting the pitchforks out again

This is why we moved from Upton Park, so we could compete at the top level? I’ve not really got anything against the guy. He’s a pantomime villain at worst. But this shows how much Sullivan despises us. Old, crocked, past it forward rather than a young, exciting player who can take us to the next level. Total pisstake.

I can’t be bothered to moan anymore. Is he actually shit or just been injured? He’s career record is good up until last season. Scored 18 in 36 just two years ago.

Never known such an unpopular signing Doesn't sound like the wages are very high (by current PL standards!) So could be a pay as you play deal and given his injury record a good chance he's not available for a good portion of the season

No pre season so will be up to speed by November, injured by December.

I know this is not a popular opinion, but I don’t think this signing is that bad. By the sound of it, he won’t cost that much (relatively speaking) unless he does well. He is old, he is injury prone, he’s said some things about us in the past, but he’s is/was a top quality forward.
