Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"Just finished The Killing liked it a lot but not really the last season as much. Breaking Bad, Homeland done Was going to do Luther or The Wire next - can you tell me which one is best of the two?"

"Whoever recommended Slow Horses, thank you. Five episodes in and it's supurb. Olivia Cooke is an absolute rocket as well, so that helps. Really enjoying Ted Lasso as well."

"collyrob 3:11 Sat Aug 5 Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls happygilmore 6:35 Fri Aug 4 Like I said. S1 was brilliant, capturing the stress of running a restaurant and the associated problems in a run down area. S2 felt very manufactured tension wise."

"happygilmore 6:35 Fri Aug 4 Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation What!!! Are you mad, that was one of the best episodes I’ve ever seen of anything. The chaos the tension, the mental health issues. It was absolutely perfect."

"Alfs 4:54 Thu Aug 3 Same. I really enjoyed it until the last episode. Unless there is a second series, It was not just ruined by a poor and far fetched motive but it fizzled out without any real closure."

"I thought The Bear 2 was a bit meh. Hated the shouty esp of the family Xmas. Improved a bit towards the end. Will there be. Season 3? Yes I would think, since the whole season revolved around the new restaurant opening"

Hijack trekked to be original which did keep me watching and actually held onto the possible end game as long as possible. Six episodes of quality tv and then a finale which felt rushed for some reason. Meanwhile The Bear. Best show on TV right now. What a brilliant second series

"The Sixth Commandments.. Superbly put together, top acting and an absolutely diabolical criminal. Hijack - Absolute bag of shit !! Oh dear Idris Elba. His career is nosediving quicker than that plane."

"Good Omens is back for season 2 and is great fun. Very funny, even accounting for some unnecessary goings-on in the last episode. Tennant and Sheen are in great form and Miranda Richardson, Reece Shearsmith and Doon Mac, um, MacKeech, er, that Scottish woman, are all excellent. Nina Sosanya gives me a stirring in the loins."

"Ah right, well in that case there are many alternative view shows I've seen that I've really liked, two recent ones were with Sean Bean - Marriage and Time, both really good. Happy Valley another. I could list a dozen or so, at least."
