Daily Quiz anyone?
"If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells? I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature. I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers. You mark your own answers and post your score. I will then record the scores and at the end of the ""lockdown"" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves) Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions. Any interest?"

"Zeb Can't believe you chose to prioritise your job over the quiz ;) Good news though. Scores on the doors. GeoffPikey

"Missed today, so 0. Shame, would have got quite a few. Just helped clear out brother's loft. Loads of copies of Classic Car magazine in posho folders. Vroom."

East - 9/10 for me today. My first car was a Hillman Minx - Bench front seat. Then I had an Triumph Herald and M G Midget. The Herald's bonnet opened up frontways so I used to do lots of work on the engine sitting on the front wheels with my legs either side of the suspension. Stripped the engine down on the kerb-side.

Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
"Kips I owned two, Ford Anglia and Triumph Herald (convertible) Learned to drive in a Vauxhall Viva. And my Dad had a Singer Gazelle which was his pride and joy in the early 60s. My old man loved cars although we weren't well off we always had one. The first one I remember was a Ford V8 Pilot which he got cheap in the 1950s maybe late 40s but that didn't last too expensive to run and I think petrol may have still been rationed. Went to a more modest Popular but that never had enough power for dad. Remember him having a Zodiac - bench font seat and column shift. - a real classic today. Have to say he also some bad cars the worst being an Austin Maxi which I inherited"

"East - I doubt very much if many people on here were even born when most of these were on the road. Depressingly, I actually owned a couple of these back in the day."

Name the Classic UK Cars (not still in production). You need to identify the manufacturer and the model. From the “cryptic” clues given
