Sentimental. Thought provoking. Weird. Trippy. ONE OF MY FAVOURITE FILMS OF ALL TIME. Yeah I said it. Glad you liked it. I agree with your take on it."

"Alfs - I loved it, I just assumed the 'down in the mouth' way of talking was how the character was meant to be portrayed."

"Watched the first 2 hours (of 3) of The Batman last night. My God, Robert Pattinson is awful as the eponymous hero. Just mumbles through his lines with no emotion, character arc, light and shade, a truly dreadful performance. Not sure whether I can manage the last hour."

It’s good. But it could have been about 20 minutes shorter. Great cast though.

Watched Nope the other night. Really disappointing. Can’t understand how it has the ratings it does. It’s just a quirky mess.

"Lee Trundle 11:38 Tue Sep 6 It's ok if you got nothing else to watch, but does make Cliffhanger look like Oscar winning material. A bit like the new Liam Neeson one Memory. Still trying to capture the Taken magic but he is 70 now! A Walk Among the Tombstones is a good watch though if you haven't seen it."

"I probably wouldn't have watched it, had I not seen all the decent films already on the plane as it goes, but I'm glad I did."

"I like Bill Nighy. Has anyone been watching Ridley on ITV with Adrian Dunbar? Two episodes in, I like it."

"Speaking of Stallone, I was tempted to watch Samaritan last night, but the reviews for it are pretty shit and put me off it. Anyone seen it on here?"

A few older movies have been added to Netflix. Watched Copland with Stallone last night for the first time in years. Didn't do well at all at the time of release but I'd forgotten what a cracking cast it has and Stallone actually acts in it. A bit slow but looking back I think it's a decent film if anyone hasn't seen it. Uncle Buck in on there as well. I do miss the great John Candy.
