Oh dear twoleftfeet! Snide of Ham will be after you. John Lyall was God and you can't be West Ham if you don't agree...

"Some of you are clearly wearing rose coloured spectacles. Some of the football we played between 77 - 80 was atrocious, Lyall wouldn't have survived if social media had been around. The football played under Allardyce was truly abysmal and don't forget the Forest cup game."

Anyone seen these links to Mourniho this morning? Apparently he wants to move back to the prem and London in the summer. Not that I believe it but would you? Yes from me!

"I started going to West Ham as a 9 year old shortly before our first FA Cup win in 1964. So for the first 27 years as a West Ham supporter I saw teams that always tried to play good, attacking football, under Greenwood and Lyall. It didn't always work, of course, but you knew that was our style and you went every week because when it did work it was wonderful to watch. So that was how I was ""brought up"" and the style of play will always be the most important thing for me. It's been up and down since then, but there was a time when we were one of the few teams to play an attacking style and now we're one of the few who don't. I need more than just the result. If that's all that matters I might as well stay at home and tune in at 5o'clock (or whenever)."

Yarmouthh 100% agree and don't understand people even wanting to go near Dyche who plays the same shit football. We've had Fat Sam and now Moyes add Dyche to that we're the new fucking Wimbledon We need a modern manager who isn't stuck in the seventies (in fact that's an insult to Ron Greenwood but you know what I mean) but to do that we probably need an owner who isn't also stuck there

It's all pretty simple. Don't fucking go you wouldn't go and watch a shit film time and time again. Keep turning up and that tells them it can't be all bad as they're here every other week. It's not as if you can't watch every game in the comfort of your own armchair

"We've got Moyes until HE wants to quit & we'll have to put tip with his brand of shite football until then. It's that simple and that fucking sad for us as supporters. Some of you out there don't seem to care about the type of football we play, avoiding relegation or a good cup run seems sufficient for you. I can understand that bit never, ever, support that. Maybe its because I'm 65 and remember the great players and therefore the great football we've played over the decades. We may never have won much but we played entertaining football and most always attacked the opposition. Now we play shite, defensive, dull football and are happy to give the opposition the bigger percentage of the ball. We set up with 5 at the back, at home, against fucking Everton, Brentford, Palace, & away at Wolves. It's shite, it's not the West Ham way & thats why the players are pissed off with the prick Moyes. Will we get relegated? If it's the only way to get rid of Moyes I'd take it - & thats pathetic and sad. But will we? I'm not certain, but what I am certain is that I don't want to watch this shite anymore."

"He doesn't take interest off of loans anymore? The question is, how much has he taken out of the club from interest paid which is effectively ripping us off"

"He doesn't take a salary nor a dividend according to the official accounts. Nor does he get any interest on his loans anymore, as they have been repaid, in full."

Dyche IS the new Everton manager. So that's another too starch off the list.

"PubBigot Absolutely agree mate. Sullivan has been dreadful. I said as much but, some posters are accusing him of asset stripping, selling players to make profits, only buying WH for a profit, not sacking Moyes to save £7m and so on. All of it's nonsense. Let's start with the obvious point that Sullivan gave up his overall control and now has less than 39%. He can only make decisions with the agreement of his fellow shareholders. He doesn't take a salary nor a dividend according to the official accounts. Sullivan wants to keep Moyes because he must really believe he will get us out of trouble. As I said he's been a poor leader."

"I think we could well struggle getting 30 points. We cannot score and have to hope Bowen hits a purple patch. We don't create many decent chances for a team that supposedly puts a lot of crosses in ( unfortunately including 70% that don't beat the first man from Coufal etc).? We dont have the ball that much even against the teams in the bottom half. 30-40%. We let in 1 or 2 most games. Average but a problem when you don't create or score many. Injury blessings over the last 2 seasons now evening out. It's just one after another now just like it used to be. Biggest issue may be the loss of unity which comes with bad results and not trying to do something different. Ironic that this is what Moyes, the coaches and players shouted to the rooftops. About how good team spirit was. Not changing manager will be another failure in stewardship by Sullivan. 3 relegations in 13 years, close to relegation or in trouble 5 or 6 years. Spectacular underachievement and poor performance of all involved with the club which is seen by most , outside the club, as amateur and run like a mail order smut or porn publishing company. In the context of the football industry the long term success is about being successful on the pitch and / or providing entertainment. Sure you can make money but over the longer term you have to achieve something on the pitch that shows progression. Lower divisions it's promotion, a cup run etc. What have West Ham achieved in 13 years of GSB? Fvck all that's what in, as mentioned , the context of the football side. Hence Sullivan Gold ( posthumously ) Brady get a big fat ""F""ù for failure. Some achievement when you look at what they have invested in more recent times."

Being a successful businessman has nothing to do with competently running a football club apart from a few honorable exceptions. It's just a plaything which satisfies the ego to some extent but there are far too many illogical random variables which are tolerated in the football world which just wouldn't fly in the business world. It makes no sense - to some extent you just have to throw money at the thing hoping that some of it hits the jackpot. It's how wisely you throw that cash around that makes the difference (look at Everton) but most people are in football just to pay the debts.

"I don't even see that, Trunds. I think he'll tell the press that he's happy with the squad and that there was no good business to be done. Still, 46 league games at least next season, eh?"

"""What I don't understand is Sullivan rolling the dice with David Moyes"" Yeah, I find it a bit baffling. He's likely to have to chuck a load of money on panic buys in the hope we stay up. All he has to do is sell Antonio for £7m, and then use that money to bin off Moyes. Job done for no expenditure."

"Willtell, having business acumen outside of football rarely translates into running a successful football club. In Sullivan's case, I believe Sullivan's sole intention for taking over West Ham was moving us to the Olympic Stadium for significant profit, which looks likely if we avoid the drop. What I don't understand is Sullivan rolling the dice with David Moyes, considering all news coming out of the club feels like there is a mutiny going on, and dropping out of the Premier League would significantly hurt the value of the club and stall a takeover where he makes a barrel load of profit. Sullivan is astute at making money, not running a football club."

Could see Sullivan assets stripping every single player worth any value at all How would that benefit Sullivan?

"I want Moyes gone and think that Sullivan is a poor leader. However, some of the negative comments on here are ridiculous and silly. The problem with social media is that every opinion is expressed without considering the other side of that opinion nor has responsibility for the outcome. I'm sure Moyes sees his loyalty to certain players as a positive requirement for a happy squad staying together. I'm sure he also feels the same about his coaches he works with day to day. I'm also sure Sullivan will have read the riot act to Moyes to sort out the Soucek and Cresswell issues. He will have told Moyes he needs to make the players he bought work better and generally shake things up or go""¶ Sullivan may be a buffoon publicly but he's a self made billionaire so isn't anywhere near as daft or tight fisted as a lot of you assume."

March 22nd is the all important date . If the dwarf pisses off then it would give the club and supporters a huge shot in the arm similar to what the barcodes had when Ashley went .
