"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Pleased for the Lions - first playoff win since 1992. Gotta say that Dallas' playoff meltdown (although it was as much about how well the Packers played) was predictable. Sorry, Norf, as I know your brother throws everything at that job - and rightly so. Some good looking matchups in the next round. But almost every side seems to have a long list of injuries at the moment - a few more than 'normal' for this late stage of the season. At this rate, any superbowl is going to involve some of us."

Stafford hurt his shoulder on his throwing side. Doesn't look good. Possible concussion too.

Takashi Miike 1:19 Just like his similarly comically overrated predecessor Romo. Cannot believe how much love that bloke got and still gets for being a career choker.

Good start from dallas!! You know you have defensive issues when you let the very average Aaron Jones get 2 TD's in about 5 minutes.

"I've been in KC in everso slightly warmer temperatures than yesterday (I think it got down to -15 once). It's likely to be in the mid 60s there later on this week, I think. Just a few days too late for the Fins."

"As I've always said, frozen Fish is never the same. It was 22 degrees in Miami this weekend. It was -22 in Missouri, and -32 with the windchill. Mental temperatures and the Fish couldn't handle it."

Dolphins offensive play calling was terrible. They were horrible! Shocking performance.

"Gotta' be honest, I don't know a lot about Mayo, other then the Patsies as an organisation hold him in high regard. Another defensive mind - but their big problem this season was getting the offense going. Mac Jones started life in the NFL well, and has tailed off with injuries and struggling to play under a new OC almost every year etc. Neither him nor Zappe had much to throw at this season. Fuck 'em, though!"

How you follow Belichick.? With some Mayo.! Patriots do the wise thing and hire from within. Jerod Mayo. Ex Pat's player and assistant coach. Takes a very hot seat.
