I am sure that I remember Sullivan saying a while back that "Potter wasn't the reason Brighton were successful, the owner identified players that would be great in PL" or words to that effect.
It just shows how knee jerk Sullivan is in appointing managers. He slagged off Mourinho in the past too so expect him to rock up this summer...

And another thing. That sweaty he brought with him - Reid. I had hopes for him, looked like a proper old rogue, thought he'd be the one to put Graham right if he got a bit too carried away with the new age stuff. Useless.
Good point. His assistances haven't had any hardly any mention, and they are an integral part of the set up, albeit maybe not result changing. So, are they any fucking good?

What an absolute uninspiring gimp Potter is especially after his melt moment. He made a right fucking cock of himself in that press conference. Disaster not giving him a 6 month only deal. The players wont have any respect (if they had any anyhow) after wet blankets spaz outburst. Unfortunately he wont be fucked off until we are rock bottom come Christmas. What a complete laughing stock we are from top to bottom.

He basically reminds everyone now of any gutless charmless English failure in popular culture. Partridge, Major, Southgate, Tim Henman. Completely wet lacking any charisma.
Fuck knows what anyone saw in him to begin with lapping up how apparently successful he had been in the game prior to arriving. He's just a new age Media darling full of nut tickling talk to arouse the masses and his hypnotism worked a treat in gaining a two and a half year lucrative contract. Quite impressive to be honest after what he did at Chelsea taking them to the bottom half of the table.

What Graham needs is a good night out on the beer, maybe a couple of strippers. Lighten up a bit. Put this season in the fuck it bucket. Bin off the emotional intelligence crap. Have a bit of a twerk around to kudus's afro beat mix tape
He needs to pick himself up, stop being a twat. Start the best team, dont make stupid subs. Easy money.
A horrific thought that would only end up turning out like this and splashed across all media outlets within minutes..

Steve Cooper next. Sullivan will lurch back to full survival mode in Oct is my thinking? All this need for entertainment idea flushed down the lav! Cooper ticks his highly data driven process for recruiting managers ( out of work , cheap, managed in Prem, saved a team from relegation once) only issue is he’s under 60. Dyche might be the other candidate although again a bit too young

How anyone could have watched that cry for help press conference, and still come on here shrugging their shoulders saying give him a chance, is fucking mind blowing.
He had a full scale melt down in front of the cameras for fuck sake. He has previously admitted that the Chelsea job, in his own words, affected his 'mental health'... He's a football manager who earns multi millions to coach football players, part of the job is dealing with the up and down stress that brings. The job is defined by it. He clearly can't handle it, he is completely crumbling in front of our eyes, after 4 months at West Ham.
Put him out of his misery. I was embarrassed for him watching that.

Potter is not a good manager. However, he’s a terrible West Ham manager.

Next Sunday will be a good test of the man. There is no excuse for losing the game. The opposition have just been humiliated by Liverpool, they're playing a 'must win' game on Thursday evening followed by another on the Thursday after. They are likely to play half a team of reserves and their manager is as clueless as Potter. On top of that it's a London derby, the team should be playing full out to give the supporters something to feel good about and perhaps we might get some piss taking chants going.
It's the hope that kills you......

Wasn't particularly overjoyed when he got the job, but was more than willing to give him a chance, an opportunity to show us what he can do. As such have refrained from giving him a shoeing.
Unfortunately his appointment has proven to be an absolute disaster. Colour it however you like - tactics, quality of player at his disposal, whatever. I honestly don't think he has it in him to turn this around. Therefore he has to go. If not for the sake of the club, then for his own mental health. The fucker looks shell-shocked.
Of course, the majority of us know EXACTLY where the problem lies (the 4'2" nonce at the head of the table), so fuck knows where we go from here.
Grim doesn't even begin to cover our fate atm.

What's all the "I don't want to talk about positives" rubbish all about ?
I thought they gave him an easy ride to be honest
Pressed a little harder and he may of gone into full Joe Kinnear mode.
He was rude as fuck to all the reporters. Clear sign he's lost the fucking plot.
And if you want me to say a swear word, I can!
AHAHAHAHAHAHA

1 of the things (there was many) that fucked me off in his post match press conference is him lying through his shit whitened turkey teeth stating Fullkrug wasn't dropped because of his comments after the last game he did alright in setting up Bowen to score. Absolute load of old bollocks and yet he sits there thinking he can pull the wool over our eyes. He's taking everyone for being mugs.

There's been a development.
Apparently contracts contain clauses relating to fitness to work and Potter's behaviour since the presser and through the night has been, shall we say, odd.
He may be being assessed by a Doctor in the coming days.

Anyone else noticed how the people on here who claim the problem is the team and not Potter, still predict us to win every week
almost as if there’s nothing wrong with the team, but suddenly change the narrative back to all the players are shit and have no chance of winning a game as soon as their beloved coach fucks up another game

Changing managers every six months kills clubs, though l agree loser Lopi had ro go
Got to give Potter a chance as we all know he ain't getting the sack anytime soon as number of players have to go so lets see who he brings in
Try and make it make sense you plank.

Potter’s advantage ( flimsy? ) over Lopetegui is simply that he has not had a transfer window like Lop had since he ( Loo ) did get 3 of his choices in addition to 6 other players.

You agree loser Lop had to go but the far worse Potter deserves a chance!
