NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

Re: 2016 NFL Season
Andrew Luck has just become the highest paid player in NFL history! 6 year deal at around 25million per year! a ridiculous £87million guaranteed! and that's after a down year for him!

"looked like a man against boys in the German league, which is apparently the best in Europe. ridiculous step up in level to the NFL though, be interesting to see if he can cut it. maybe a season in Canada or something might of been an option beforehand to develop further."

"yes mate, you got the receiver I said you'd draft in the first round. one of the best stories of the whole draft though is your boys signing the german receiver Moritz Boehringer. have a look at this link, fascinating story and shows what's capable if you have the ability and put the work in http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000659681/article/vikings-moritz-boehringer-i-want-to-be-dirk-nowitzki-of-nfl"

Re: 2016 NFL Season
"Decent draft by the Jets again this year. Mike Maccagnan and Todd Bowles seem to have better approach to the draft that most past GM-Coach combos. Two tough-ass linebackers - one a touchline-to-touchline type who could play every down and the other a quick edge rusher who will go hunting the QB - plus a decent addition to the backfield. But more interestingly, a high-potential QB in Rnd2 with a cannon for an arm. Hackenberg is a risk, but less so (I feel) then Geno Smith. His throwing arc is nowhere near as flat (I always felt that left Smith vulnerable to interceptions). This could turn out to be a good QB acquisition in the long-term. We just need to re-sign Fitz on a decent deal for a year or two."

"Mr Burns... Yes, we are absolute shit across the board and I am looking forward to a 0-16 record this season. It is just a shame we beat your lot in the final game last season as we would have been picking higher in this draft."

Re: 2016 NFL Season
"Looks like a pretty decent first round for all teams, haven't paid too much attention to it this year with the Pats not having a 1st round pick, they have a shit load of later round picks so hopefully can put a bunch of them together and try and trade up for someone worth taking. although Bill always seems to find these gems in the later rounds"
Re: 2016 NFL Season
The Niners picked a very good player in Buckner at 7 but surrendered too many picks in a deep draft to trade up for Garnett at 28. I think he would still have been available at their picking position in round 2. Typical shit strategy by the General Manager Baalke.

Re: 2016 NFL Season
really happy with the Doctson. he's a great prospect but also a decent kid and will work hard for the team. I like Jack and also Ragland but im sure they'll go by the time we get to our second pick

Re: 2016 NFL Season
"Feel sorry for Myles Jack. It's honourable of him to be honest about his knee problems, but he's cost himself millions of dollars. If healthy, he'd have gone top five. Miserable luck for the kid to have a potentially great career taken away before it's even begun. No doubt he'll get drafted at some stage, and for however long his body holds up, that team will have a superb player."

Re: 2016 NFL Season
From everything I have read it seems Goff was the safe pick but Wentz has the potential for a much bigger upside. I have never watched any college football so don't have a clue.
