Daily Quiz anyone?
"If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells? I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature. I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers. You mark your own answers and post your score. I will then record the scores and at the end of the ""lockdown"" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves) Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions. Any interest?"

Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
"Good Morning quizzers First an apology Lemurs as some of you have pointed out are not rodents. The answer should have read Lemurs with Rodent like teeth, The end got lost in the cut and pasting. It was just meant as additional info. Lemurs are indeed primates as are Aye Ayes so if you had Lemur or primate as an answer claim a point. Today's questions will follow later. They will perhaps be easier for some than others."

"Point of order East, I had the Shell 3D cards from the 60s and 70s and was fully aware of the existance of Aye Ayes, monkey eating eagles and other exotic creatures, but in all fairness is a lemur a rodent? If not in the interest of transparency and more importantly me hanging on to my silver medal position I would suggest that all points gained for lemur= rodent , HENCEFORTH be struck from the record. Apologies in advance to anyone potentially affected by this but the fact remains I am still very bitter and twisted because I always assumed those little bastards in the fields were field mice not pygmy shrews."
