It's a bigger advantage to the opposition than us when we get corners and throw ins. That just shouldn't happen in top flight football. Time and time again we get caught out and that's instrumental what happens on the training pitch. You watch Wolves goal yesterday and see us lumbering back from our corner. The lack of pace in this team is criminal for a premier league team and at the moment we deserve to get relegated.

People calling for Moyes to be sacked because we conceded a counter attacking goal from our own corner. That's down to the players not the manager. The manager can't be held accountable for that.

"Antonio is a shadow of the player he was 2 years ago. Had a purple patch where he looked a bit like a striker but in the last 12 months, when his form hasn't been great, you could usually rely on him giving 100% at the very least. These days he's not only playing poorly, he's strolling around the pitch like it's a training match. So if his form is off and he's not working hard, he's giving us absolutely nothing."

"Ted , Not for one second have I forgotten Antonio's contribution over the last few years - however does the adage ,""ù your only as a good as your last game "" apply to others and not him ! It works both ways , he has had a very good career at WH for a limited player and hit the jackpot with his latest contract . And late in his career he decided he wanted to play for Jamaica - coincidentally his club form started tailing off at the same time . I'd much rather he shut his mouth , work hard in training and perform when given the opportunity."

"For various reasons we generally hold on to players for too long. In more recent times I can think of Carlton Cole, Noble and a like for like replacement for Antonio should have been in the door at least a good season ago. Truly progressive clubs with any real ambition don't do that."

Antonio has been a superb signing for us he's scored many important goals and played a big part in both our high league positions yet now he's being called a cnut !!! Moyes picks the sides and deides when to sell a player. Some of the posts on here are really harsh.

"""When a new manager comes in he will put Soucek and Cresswell out of their misery."" Depends on who it is. Someone like Dyche for instance may regard them as HONEST PROS and believe that their work rate and experience is vital to the success of the team. Sullivan has pretty much confirmed that he wants another David Moyes type to replace David Moyes via his usual outlets."

When a new manager comes in he will put Soucek and Cresswell out of their misery . But I will get more satisfaction from him dumping Antonio and telling that cսnt he has no future at the club . The neck of that prick complaining about lack of game time with the dogshit performances he has served up for 12 months .

"We dont know whats going on at board level. You have to wonder if anyone really wants to come to this toxic cesspit of a club and work on Sullivan's terms and thats why Moyes is (to us inexplicably) still in charge. Right now to have even a chance of avoiding the drop we have to get anyone in who we think can turn this rabble into a viable footballing outfit or its going to be loss heaped upon miserable loss and relegation nailed on. Welcome to the Grant Era Mark 2. on the other hand maybe they see something in relegation that does not bother them as business owners like it does the fans, it is after all the hallmark of their tenure."

"I am getting accustomed to the idea of being relegated. It's resignation I suppose or fatalistic ? In hindsight, Moyes was finished as the manager to take us further last season but as a club that has achieved almost nothing in 42 years, and with current owners who have 13 years of absolutely nothing aside from relegation and relegation struggles, they and some of us were dazzled by the 2 years of Euro qualification. It has blinded everyone. Moyes is like so many outdated managers like Dave Beasant, BFS, Pullis, Warnock, Bruce etc.. a kind of ""firefighter""ù that can get a team well organised and fit initially and grind out results for a short period. But the tactics are not going to sustain anything longer term. We overachieved via lock down for a season and a half. Sullivan couldn't believe his luck. After 11 years of failure something going right and now he can't let go. This forum and others, fans at the games all unanimous on the fact we are the slowest, oldest team and now the worst in the league. He's got us to the bottom of the pile. Moyes is frozen, clueless on what to do next. We are going down without him going for sure and him going immediately. But am I confident Sullivan will get the right person? No but he has to make a change just to wake the players up we have and before investing this window. I worry though that in Sullivan's mind and via Moyes in his ear, he thinks we just need another striker!! We need at least another good wing back and another central midfielder with pace, and another CB to cover as injuries always hit us there. Ain't gonna happen. Can only hope Sullivan acts after the Everton game because it's clear he ain't sacking him this week. All in all, get used once again to bei g relegated"

"""Anyway, it's hard to think that they haven't - at the very least - made contingency plans or sounded out possible successors."" Takashi Miike 11:32 Sat Jan 14 Re: Moyes Out whetstone speaking on one of the fan yt channels earlier saying there's no plans to sack him and that they've not shortlisted anyone as a replacement. allegedly, his sources for this are unnamed journalists and agents close to sullivan. absolutely scandalous that a professional sports club is run this way"

"Exactly Isolated thats why I honestly think now we are going down Even a new manager might not be able to turn it around. The Everton game is huge and we need a new manager with fresh ideas to give us the best way of beating them as the tried, tested and shut ideas from Moyes will see us struggle to get anything let alone the win. Relegation season"
