I thought Whetstone's link was to Gold? The power of the Ouija board?

"Agreed. If we were lying in, say, 13th place, I could understand saying that. We're not. We're in 18th place and probably the least in form team in the division over the last 10 games."

8 wins out of the second set of 19 games!!! We only won four of the first 19.

"""We have probably risen expectations greatly in the last few years, being in Europe, 6th and 7th in the Premier League in the last two years,""ù Moyes said. ""I can understand disappointment and understand frustration and maybe they [fans] cannot quite understand why it is quite like this.""ù Why does this cսnt talk about the last two seasons after every defeat? Who fucking cares, we're in the relegation zone. As for our expectations, what a smarmy wanker, the only expectations we have is not to be the worst team in the league, let alone one of the worst 3, is that too much to ask?"

"Whetstone 100% has links to the board, and you are giving far too much credit to a board which has let this situation drift on for as long as it has."

"Eerie Not sure I believe anyone who claims to know what the board is thinking, whether they claim to be ITK or not. So much bullshit online these days. Anyway, it's hard to think that they haven't - at the very least - made contingency plans or sounded out possible successors."

"no, you're the mental one as you seem to think our current position is funny. the reason we're in this state is because of idiots like you that wanted to hang on to him despite it being clear that he'd lost the plot months ago"

"Are you mental takashi? What part of the post indicates I'm backing Moyes? I'm keen for him to go now, I'm merely waiting for the announcement. Maybe you should learn to read posts properly you twat."

"He should be sacked just as much for his dogshit recruitment and allowing us to become the oldest squad in the league as for his piss poor record and performances. Not one redeeming feature and to suggest that 18 months of over-acheivement gives him ""credit"" is fucking laughable"

"3-5-2 gets this squad out of trouble. Scamacca and one of Bowen or Antonio playing off him, both upfront. Three at the back. High wing backs (Johnson and Emerson?). Three in central midfield with, crucially, either Paqueta or Downes playing deep alongside Rice so that we can finally pass our way through the high press. No fucking Soucek playing deep. Benny or Fornals further forward in midfield, with a bit more license to roam/create. The obvious potential for improvement is there - even without buying anybody. These players are better than Moyes allows them to be."

"Only Moyes can buy a striker who scored goals in a good to average Serie A side alongside a strike partner and then use him as a target man and go against all of his strengths. He is too afraid of even starting 2 up top for a change and seeing how he gets on with Antonio doing the running. Antonio I'm sure would play better knowing his busting a nut for something rather than hit and hope crosses into the box with no one around him. The whole style and tactics need to change, we have the players to do it, just not the manager We have 19 games left, I reckon we need 8 wins and probably a point where its not expected to be safe. I simply can't see it under the jock cսnt"

"Scamacca has never played in the #10 role. He's a striker. Always has been, always will be. Even when he's played as part of a strike partnership, he's played as the centre forward with another striker close to him. The issue with Scamacca is: a) to actually play him in the first place and b) to get players close to him so that he can work off them and then off him. He's too isolated and easy to mark playing Moyes' distant one upfront - where, often, nobody is within 20 metres of him. The problem, as always, is Moyes. Moyes has to go. Step one really is that fucking simple."

We have got the team we just don't have the manager

It's madness that we've sacrificed so many games/points in an attempt to give Moyes time. First game back it was clearly obvious that he'd no chance of turning this around.

"My gut feeling is that he's gone in the next day or two. You can't keep saying one more game forever, and losing to another poor side like Wolves must have surely been the final straw. It would be farcical if he's still here for Saturday. It's over for him."

"I doubt he's doing nothing, even though Moyes is still in position. I'd guess the decision has already been made and that they're waiting for their choice of successor to be available or for terms to be agreed."

I mean it's not that hard to get this team playing. Drop soucek Play Bowen and benny as wingers not wingbacks covering fullbacks. Play Scamacca in the no 10 role Don't give up possession every match and try to keep the ball. We won't win every game but get enough points to survive It's not rocket science

I look at the Brighton manager Di Zerbi and I can't help thinking that is exactly the type of bloke who could get a tune out of our players. Same as the Wolves manager. As usual our chairman shuffles his feet and does nothing. Absolutely Mental

"Yes he got us to the semi final of the EL, and I keep hearing we should be thankful for that, but a competent manager would have won the fucking thing. I enjoyed it of course, but we played maybe two teams who were really any good, and this just masked how poor we were domestically. I've hated the cսnt ever since that Arsenal quarter final."
