I see that Tony Blair is being an absolute bell-end again claiming that Brexit is a failure and triggered "mass immigration".

Carsley refusing to sing the anthem is the same as him turning down the full-time post.

The FA will correctly conclude that someone too thick to appreciate the responsibilities that come with the job of England football manager is unsuitable for the position.

One thing Southgate and Hodgson both got right was insisting that the anthem be sung by the team and staff. Not only is it a demonstration of pride in representing your country, in more practical terms it demonstrates to the opposition that your team is united and up for the battle.

I’d argue that Rice being used correctly would be an asset to any team in the world, a guaranteed starter. But then I’d also argue that Lee Carsley won’t ever know how to use him correctly.
