Wasnt able to make the game today and sounds like I havent missed much. We are treading water and luckily there a group of hopeless teams at the bottom so drifting into a mediocre lower midtable position should see the season out .... SPOILER : No cup wins either Club should be planning for the next manager and having him ready to go the week after the season ends. Moyes has run his race and isnt changing.

"wils, paqueta can turn a game with one flash of brilliance . Take that out and we have zero creativity and replacing him for Kudos in my opinion would be madness. Players like Paqueta should be given literally a free role playing in his best position not out on the left. Yes Paqueta is frustrating , most players like him are but fucking hell putting the blame on him for this shit show is more than a bit harsh. Under Moyes no player is given freedom to roam, every player is expected before anything else to stick to his rigid formation and that why even the summer signings including jwp are very quickly looking worse and worse. Thats why our last two strikers came and went . He sucks the life out pf players . Its awful to watch and id imagine even worse to play under."

At least those who were moaning about beating Brighton and Chelsea with only had 30% possession will be happy with the 64% we had today.

"Players do not become bad overnight Moyes has coached the technical side out of them, look how they stand around waiting for the scraps. No one wants to get on the ball, no one makes runs off the ball, offer options. Its all hit and hope up top hoping Antonio can do something with Bowen hopefully getting on the end of his knockdowns etc. We play 20 yards too deep to be effective, we miss a player like Lingard who was able to drive us up the pitch that 20 yards. Paqueta being out on the wing is pointless, Moyes might aswell play him goal."

"We are on a downward spiral and I can't see it getting much better anytime soon. Problems and questions all over the shop. Zouma and Agued looked dreadful, and are Alvarez and JWP actually any good? Kudus has ability but fear he lacks a football brain, looks scatty."

Shite. Everton played us perfectly but it was way too easy - all so slow and predictable.

"playing like this, arsenal batter us in the league cup then we go to brentford where we rarely play well. change him now while there's something to play for"

Fucking hell. Even if we'd won that it would have felt like a loss but to play like that at home off the back of two dismal defeats just shows that Moyes just ain't up to it. Fucking get rid of him now to at least give ourselves a chance of some entertainment this season. How can such an expensively assembled squad be so fucking shit? What a cսnt Moyes is.

"Another hopeless performance. If anything good is going to come out of this season it will be Moyes getting the boot. Get a manager who knows how to play technical football. Kudus looked excellent but all our players get the ball and have no options or movement around them to create space. Defensively we are also so poor. Mistakes every match, soft goals, dont command the box. Be lucky to make mid table. Everton are a really poor side and we made them look decent."

Worst performance of the season. Horrific performance and the manager and the players deserve every bit of criticism that comes their way. There’s no defending that and what’s doubly annoying is the fact that he rested players in midweek just for this game which was another poor decision.

"We aree chasing the games and he brings on fucking Soucek and will simply not entertain the idea of playing 2 upfront He has the likes of Cornet, Mubama who can both play up top and the option to use Kudus there too but he won't come away from the old tried and tested method of 1 upfront hit and hope mantra. He has no idea how to change, as soon as we went a goal down I switched off because it's the same old script, same usual changes and he expects that to get a result. He has run his course now, he got lucky last season winning the trophy and that masked the fact we lost 20 league games."

"Where to go with Moyes?? I presume they let him see out the season but can't see a renewal of his contract. Old ideas - no striker - aging players past their due date. I thought Everton looked physically more imposing than us. The ref allowed them to kick a few of us in the air but we didn't give it back at them. I thought the passing from JWP, Alvarez was way too slow. Paqueta got moved around everywhere. Kudus went quiet after that yellow card when the testosterone should have got him going. Just limp. Bowen had a great headed chance just before their 1-0 but that was about it. With the manager situation I'm not sure we'll even get a striker in January. There will most likely be a new manager in next season & he'll want to be involved with who we bring in. Quite obvious we need an upgrade on Coufal, Cresswell, Antonio, Benrahma, Soucek"

"It doesn't matter what resources you give this fella, he always manages to turn it to shit. Looking at our bench today, players and staff... it has that doom laden look about it again. I dread to think what the fan reaction will be if this moron gets a new deal... we need him out before Xmas."

"Embarrassing and tedious. Also, starting to wonder if Paquetta's flashes of brilliance have blinded us to how much he undermines the team's efforts. I mean this defeat isn't his fault but the frequency he loses possession and that dive he got the yellow for is sapping what little effort the team is able to summon. Glad Kudus got the start and he looks promising but you have to wonder if he should have replaced Paquetta rather than Soucek."

"We didnt lose because of the ref but please explain why he stopped play for a player injured (playacting) off the pitch. Sliding down towards the bottom half of the table. Thank god Luton, Burnley etc are in the league this year. So bad im not even angry about today, just apathetic about it all"

"Not really a surprise, been crap for weeks and even the early wins were ugly wins. After a half decent start even the new players are going down hill, a few months with Moyes seems to have that effect."
