Divin Mubama
"You have definitely got to feel sorry for the lad. He had a great pre season, looked like he had finally broken through and was going to be a solid option for Moyes and the potential to save the club millions on buying a striker. Moyes said he wanted him to stay and I have it on good authority that he was wanted by Gillingham on a season long loan as they were on the look out for a young striker who was able to be a big part of their team. Neil Harris at the time saw him as a good option and was more than happy to give him first team football. Divin wanted the move but Moyes vetoed it. Now he sits there on the bench not getting a sniff at any football, another one Moyes has wasted and no doubt he will get a chance in an upcoming game, probably not take his chance due to match fitness and then Moyes will look vindicated in not picking him, not picking up on the fact that he would need a few games to get up to speed, but once he does inhave no doubt that he is the natural replacement for Antonio and should be coming off the bench when we are chasing the game rather than Danny fucking Ings."

"Ah, we can obsess endlessly about every player who escapes the youth system but how many ever go on to really be top notch players? Maybe he wil be the one, but if he’s ready to jump ship because he doesn’t cruise into the starting lineup then he’s probably not worth it."

Re: Divin Mubama
Nuts. You attempting to be the most stupid of posters ? Pre season he was our best attacker. Looked ready to me. But Moyes doesn't trust the youth even though they played better than first team players in the same games. He looks as good and quite similar to Jackson at Chelsea. He dropped down to the u21s last week and despite not playing for weeks still scored against LG1 team.. Idiot
Re: Divin Mubama
How can anyone be “ready” without getting any game time? It’s clear for whatever reason Moyes doesn’t think he is but per all the other posts persisting with Ings who will be off soon makes no sense. Not getting in the bench is a fucking joke.

He hasn’t exactly had the opportunity to score any goals so whey ask the question?

Re: Divin Mubama
How anyone can say he isn't ready for the 1st XI on the basis of the opportunity he has so far been offered is a dark mystery full of various thoughts and personal opinions.
Re: Divin Mubama
"What more can the lad do to be 'ready'? He has bagged goals for fun in the U23s, scored a few for the first team and has generally handled himself well when he has been given a chance for the first team. What more must he do to be given more chances off the bench ahead of not scored a prem goal in 25 games Danny Ings?"

"Shut up Nutsin, you silly cսnt, you have just picked that up from watching WHTV on Friday, lol. Moyes had time earlier this season to give Muamba a chance when he wasn't under pressure, but still wouldn't, instead he just kept putting on old man Ings, who even you could probably work is a complete waste of space."
Re: Divin Mubama
"Moyes is under pressure according to a few with people calling for his job. If true the last thing you would do is play some unknown entity. Fuck all to do with the law of averages, it’s common sense, it’s a bad time to experiment with the striker position especially with a bang average slow unproven at this level kid ffs."

Re: Divin Mubama
"Just on the law of averages Nutsin is likely to be correct, but I'd still like to see the boy get a fair crack of the whip and with Antonio now seemingly no longer flavour of the month now would seem a good time to do that, but he's not even sitting on the bench today. Obviously the contract situation needs sorting too."

Re: Divin Mubama
"I don't think anyone expects him to be our main striker solution, but I also don't think that was the question either. The question could be what it takes to be groomed into the top level at West ham, or at least tested, and how it would affect the u23/21 players. What I do know is that Moyes is fucking gash at giving players in general a good run to build their market value, build their confidence and build a connection to the first XI"

Re: Divin Mubama
I dont see Mubama starting in PL games but should be used instead of Ings when the bald bloke comes on I'd also have Callum Marshall on the bench in European and domestic Cup games and use him when hopefully games have been put to bed.

"Funny I recall how Harry Kane was not the answer, he was sent out on Lian and was up for 50k transfer then they had to play him because of injuries You never know how any youngster is going to play unless you fucking try him out"

Re: Divin Mubama
Even if we sign a striker he’ll probably not play so why not try the lad for more than 5 minutes. What pressure to have to impress in 5 minutes and know the manager will drop you like a bad habit

Re: Divin Mubama
"Moyes hasn't got the answer to anything going on ahead of the defensive line. Not trusting a youngster is nothing new, just his typical DNA. The choice has to drop to his feet, that has been shown numerous times. Trying out Mubama for a minute was forced upon him be external pressure. Things won't change until he is gone."
